Comfortable and spacious luxury awaits you at Bay View Grand Ixtapa. This condo (S-1404) is a very large 3 BR / 4 bath unit that will have you unwind and relax in splendor. The floor plan is roomy and comfortable for families, groups, or honeymooners. The views of the beach and the Pacific Ocean are breathtaking.
Located on the fourteenth floor, S-1404 has over 2,600 sq. ft., including three large bedrooms with a separate maid's quarters and four full bathrooms -- you may use the maid's quarters as a fourth sleeping room. The Master Suite with private bathroom has a King bed. Bedroom 2, also with private bath, has two double beds. Bedroom 3, which shares a bath with the Living Room, has two twin beds. The maid's quarters has a single bed and a small, private bath.
The large living room / dining area connects to the fully furnished kitchen with a wrap-around granite countertop. The dining room has a table for eight, next to the living room's beautiful sectional sofa and two side chairs. Also, there's a sleeper sofa facing the entertainment area with flat screen TV and 70 channels of cable. And, yes, this area all faces the magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean with full wall-to-wall sliding glass doors opening to the 60 foot balcony.
The Bay View Grand is one of the nicest properties in Ixtapa. It has traditional Mexican design blended with a contemporary flair. You will stop in your tracks just to look at the art on the walls. Amenities are plush here -- two beautiful infinity edge pools, two cantinas with grill and friendly servers to deliver your food and drinks. At the beach you can jet ski, parasail, swim, boogie board, or ride the banana boat. Security guards are provided to give you peace of mind with your belongings.
When you enter this magnificent condo you see a wall of windows with a fantastic ocean view. As you make your way to the balcony, you'll see the very luxurious contemporary furnishings and artwork, an extension of the artwork in the lobby and common areas.
The master bedroom has the same sliding doors as the living room - leave the doors cracked at night to hear the sounds and waves of the ocean. The beds have plush linens and new mattresses that will invite you to completely enjoy your sleep.
You may enjoy the use of the two beachfront infinity pools and jacuzzi, beach palapas with chaise lounge chairs, and full health club with masseuse. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and gorgeous.
You are across the street from lots of shopping and dining and two golf courses.

Family of Five, including three teenagers: We had a great time. Great communication from the owner who is well-known and respected on the property. The emailed guide and instructions were spot-on including local restaurant and attraction recommendations. The condo was a great value, clean and well-furnished and appointed. The staff and always visible and prominent security personnel were friendly and made us feel safe. It is probably the best condo in the building when you consider the view, the proximity to the elevator and being on the second to the top floor. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms beat a hotel room for sure. The large full-lenght deck overlooks the ocean from the 14th floor and is accessed from the Master Bedroom, the Dining Room and the Living Room and is outstanding. As for Ixtapa, we boogie boarded, jet skied, para-sailed, fished, rode horseback, relaxed on the deck and on the beach and sampled the many restaurants, shops and vendors across the street from the Bay View Grand, which was our home for a week and we would do it again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed there in June 2012. It was a beautifully decorated condo right in the heart of Ixtapa with excellent front open facing views of the beach and cliffs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the condo was tastefully decorated. The large kitchen provided everything we needed and a dining table that sat us comfortably. The amazing part of this condo was the large porch overlooking the beach. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful flowers and 2 large curved shaped pools with plenty of chairs and lounges. This condo is the perfect place. Beautifully appointed, roomy, a view to die for, and right on the beach. Great pools, gated for security, and within walking distance of lots of restaurants. We return there year after year. No better recommendation than that! 5 stars all the way Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? Absolutely! This is truly paradise ! Your magnificent home is so comfortable. The decor is awesome and the colors ! We had a wonderful time and look forward to next year. About the owner: The Siegert's live in Sedalia, Colorado, just outside of Denver. We have three sons who are very active in school and sports and keep Mom & Dad quite busy. We love to visit Ixtapa and boogie board on the beach in front of the Bay View Grand. This family picture (now a few years old) is of us 4-wheeling on the sand dunes outside of Cabo, Mexico. We enjoy zip-lining, para-sailing, and jet skiing when we're visiting Ixtapa. 2 of 3 boys plus Dad enjoy scuba diving outside of Zihua also. Sitting under a palapa reading while enjoying a cold drink and watching the surf is an adult favorite.
