Hale ROMANTIK', a new Polynesian style ocean front home with RAMP and WiFi, in Milolii Hawaii. Located just 40 feet from the ocean. As many as 10,000 Humpback Whales visit the Hawaiian waters annually from November through May. These endangered mammals enjoy the state's warm waters in the winter to breed, give birth and nurse their young. You will not have to look for the whales! You WILL hear them! And then look! They will pass within feet in front of Hale ROMANTIK' There are also Spinner Dolphins, Green Sea Turtles, and occasionally Manta Rays all year long, swimming right in front of Hale ROMANTIK'. Within the subdivision, look for the trail leading to a coconut lined beach(Honomalino)offering fantastic snorkeling and KAYAKING. The waters in this location are considered some of the best KAYAKING and fishing gounds in Hawaii. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are also available for your use, on the property.
This ocean front house, using a Polynesian style design, is open and airy; with large expanses of glass and sliding doors allowing you to view the ocean from nearly every room in the house; simply a pleasure for your stay. The house has all amenities, including a 500 square foot lanai.
Italian porcelain tile throughout keeping the house cool and clean; Italian granite accenting the beautiful cherry De Wills brand kitchen cabinetry. Double over-sized porcelain bathroom sinks with Italian granite counter tops; glass-block shower design in each bathroom. Swedish TempurPedic mattresses (king and queen size) for a complete restfull night. Tropical palm-leafed ceiling fans throughout.

This home feels so spacious because of a vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams. The furnishings are such that you'd be fine just hanging around the house for a day's break in between excursions. For families that need or like to cook the kitchen area is fully appointed with what you need to dish up a delicious meal; we were given fresh caught Ahi by locals at the Milolii Beach Park and made a nice meal right in the kitchen. You can then have your meals just a step outside the kitchen on the deck and enjoy the sea while eating. Mrs. Jensen was very helpful. It was so important to us to stay at a place with good reviews. This place did not disappoint!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

It's the perfect "get away". To get there you take a mango/coffee tree lined hwy and then descend adventurously to oceanfront Milolii. A community with stunning views of the ocean and volcanic geography. The house has a beautiful deck where you can enjoy the ocean. From the inside, you can see/hear the ocean from every window. The house has everything you need - it was home! It is meticously maintained and has gear for outdoor fun. The owners are gracious hosts providing help with items in the house and about the area in general. We had a fabulous time and will be back soon! Thank you for this fantastic place - we've made memories that our family will remember forever.

Stayed there August 10th-12th and the house was absolutely amazing. The view off the porch of the sun setting on the ocean was one of the most beautiful sites I have seen. The rental was immaculate, spacious, and in a very quiet town. Best part is the grocery store is not as far as it seems, we were able to stop in Captain Cook about a half hour away and stop at a grocery store there that more than met our needs. Owners were really, really nice and made sure we had everything to enjoy our stay. WHEN my wife and I make it back to Hawaii we plan on going during the winter and staying here because there is no question you will see whales off the porch in this house. Super awesome views of the ocean. Can't say enough about this place, located about an hour from Volcano National Park. Definitely worth the drive to stay here. Loved sitting on the porch at night looking at stars and listening to the ocean.

Hale Romantik is the perfect spot to relax in peace and quiet and watch and listen to whales. The house is almost new, fully equipped and great for one or two couples.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Hale Romantik is a true gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed ouselves there and must say that of all the places we stayed at while on the Big Island, this was the most awe inspiring and best equipped house of all. Just remember to bring a couple of rolls of quarters to use the washer/dryer. You don't want to be driving up the hill just for that! Beautiful place, great hosts. We will be back, no doubt about it. This house was perfect for a getaway with my wife and parents. With two master sweets we each had our own area. I was very surprised by how much space you have from your neighbors. We saw Whales and dolphins from the lanai. It was wonderful.

Thank you to the Jensen's for a wonderful vacation getaway! My family and I make it a point to visit the Big Island every year, and this was by far the nicest vacation rental we've experienced. We hope to return sooner than later!
