Charming first floor of Tahoma Cabin built amongst the towering pine and cedar trees! Very comfortable master bedroom with full bath and adjoining studio with double bed and a kitchenette. Home is located at the end of a quiet street next to Sugar Pine Point State Park. Very well maintained and clean. Cable TV and high speed WIFI Internet provided. Private entry and deck.
Five minute walk to the lake and historical Ehrman’s Mansion State Park, where you can enjoy sandy beaches, a tennis court, hiking and cross country skiing along the lake, and tours of Ehrman’s Mansion. Enjoy great hiking trails, (groomed for cross country skiing in the winter ), fishing, and picnic areas of Sugar Pine State Park, which is right next door to the property. Just a few miles past the state Park, enjoy the beautiful beaches at Meeks and Emerald Bay, featuring various boat rentals, a snack bar and free air station for your inflatables. In the afternoon you can enjoy a lazy five mile raft trip down the Truckee River from Tahoe City ending at the River Ranch Restaurant. Summer offers endless bike and hiking trails. The lakeside Bike Path to Tahoe City is only a half mile away.
There is a small Homeowner's Association beach with a pier only one mile away. There is an option to rent a buoy with advance notice. During the Winter, enjoy skiing at Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows, which are approximately 30 minutes away and enjoy the amazing lake views at Homewood ski resort, which is only 5 minutes away. Our home has driveway parking for two cars.
Very quiet neighborhood. Come get away from the rat race and enjoy all the beauty and serenity that the West Shore of Lake Tahoe has to offer! This is a great value for a little get away.

Approximately 30 feet from great hiking trails at Sugar Pine Point State Park, which quickly take you to a wide sandy stretch of beach at Lake Tahoe or to General Creek and Lost Lake for more hiking or trout fishing. These same trails are groomed for cross country skiing during the winter.
