What to do in Panama City Beach ...
Visit Pier Park, this new shopping complex opened the beginning of 2008. Pier Park offers “a casual day at the beach...Southern Style”. This great shopping & dining complex offers a collection of unique restaurants such as Guglielmo's Italian Grill, Hofbrau Beer Garden, Hana Japan & Reggae J's Island Grill just to mention a few. For great outdoor dining overlooking the beach visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville or Back Porch Seafood & Oyster Bar. You will enjoy shopping at all of the fashionable retail specialty shops as well as one of their anchor stores, Dillards. For a treat for yourself visit Massage Envy for a great massage or head over to Solace Salon and Day Spa for other beauty treatments.

• Ocean Motion Wave Pool is a 500,000-gallon pool that generates three foot waves every ten minutes. These waves contain cool clear water without any creatures that may lurk in the ocean.
• White Knuckle River is a 660-foot long twisting, winding inner tube ride that features tubes large enough for the entire family to splash down in.
• The Rapid River Run is over 300 feet of white water inner tube rafting. “The Rapids,” as they are affectionately known by so many guests, gives riders one of the best white water tubing slides you’ll find anywhere. The 50-foot splash down is the breath-taking finale.
• The Lazy River is over 2,000 feet of a slow moving meandering river that provides the park’s most relaxing aquatic encounter.
• Skull Island is a family activity pool that is filled with waterfalls, a kiddy slide, and water cannons for impromptu family fun.
• The Tadpole Hole is a gigantic children’s activity pool that includes a frog slide, a ship slide, an elephant slide, a pelican slide and an old submarine known as “The Silly Sub.”
Gulf World Marine park offers live shows featuring dolphins, sea lions, exotic birds and reptiles. You will also be able to explore animal exhibits featuring penguins, alligators, flamingos & more. They also offer a Swim with a Dolphin program.
Zoo World has over 250 exotic animals & a beautiful botanical garden. They offer shows year round. It is located a ½ mile east of Wal-Mart Super Center on Front Beach Road.
A trip to Shell Island is a great nature based excursion for the day. Shell Island is a natural, undeveloped island which is located between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay. The island is approximately seven miles long and about two hundred yards to three-quarters of a mile across. This island is home to one of the world's highest concentrations of bottle-nosed dolphins. The island's pristine beauty and abundant wildlife make it an enjoyable and exciting way to spend the day. It is filled with sand dunes, a fresh water swamp, acres of woods and sugar-white sands. Shell Island offers excellent snorkeling, fishing and secluded beaches.

Three of my girlfriends and I stayed at this condo in September 2010. We had such a great experience! The owner was quick to respond and wonderful to deal with. The condo was very clean and there wasn't a bunch of noise from the hall ways like some other condos I've stayed in. The beds were very comfortable. The ammenities at this condo were wonderful. We had a great time, and will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great stay!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
