We’ve been traveling to Bonaire over 20 years looking for the “perfect spot”. As the first purchaser at Bellevue, we purchased the coveted 3rd floor corner unit. This provides excellent security, trade winds throughout and expansive birds eye killer views from the living room, both bedrooms and seaside terrace.
Our search criteria:
*Peaceful BEACHFRONT location; breath taking ocean sunset views; PRIVATE seaside terrace. NOT on a lagoon, man-made canal or marina.
*The security of upper floor living with sweeping expansive views from all windows. Outdoor privacy on the seaside terrace for intimate meals, sunbathing etc.
*Private natural soft sand beach (difficult to find on Bonaire) and a great dive site in front; easy entrance/exit into the sea.
*Away from the hustle of Kralendyk. It's a picturesque town, but we avoid it when a cruise ship is in port.
*Seaside f/w pool
*Away from the airport noise. Enjoy the peace & tranquility at VINIBU. Listen to the song of the troupials instead!

The new beachfront Bellevue Condominium Residence (10 units, completed late 2008) is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and palm trees 10 minutes south of Kralendyk; an exclusive neighborhood of prestigious oceanfront homes.

An elevator takes you up to your secure 3rd floor corner unit which we named VINIBU. The spacious living room opens up onto the beachfront terrace which provides a sweeping panorama offering surreal views of the dazzling turquoise Bonaire waters, Klein Bonaire and the mountainous north part of the island.
The soft sandy beach and Caribbean Sea are 10 steps away! In one minute you can wade into the 80 degree gin clear water, take a dip in the pool and hot tub or just enjoy the privacy of your covered balcony as you sit back & enjoy the sunset. Marvel at the ever changing hues of the diaphanous blue water & watch the dolphins which swim by in the early morning hours.
Our airy condo is all one level, no stairs. VINIBU is constructed to take advantage of the refreshing trade winds (one of the many benefits besides the upper-floor 180 degree seaside view) which blow east to west & naturally cool the rooms. All windows have micro-mesh screens (keeps out the smallest of bugs). The 2 bedrooms air conditioned, as well as the kitchen and living room! The option is yours; au natural cooling with the trade winds and ceiling fans or air conditioning throughout.
The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the Caribbean; the guest bedroom opens up onto a small terrace which overlooks the east side of the island. Each has an en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower.
For those occasions when you want to “eat in”, a modern fully equipped kitchen is provided with all granite counters, full size oven, broiler, ceramic cook top, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, kettle, outside grill on the seaside terrace, dishwasher, all dishes/utensils etc. Additionally we have; cable wall mounted LCD TV, Bose Wave Music system with I Pod docking station, hi speed wired PRIVATE Secured ADSL internet connection (or secure wireless if you prefer), clothes washer, and linens & towels are also provided. A secure electronic safe (can accommodate laptop) is in the unit to store valuables.
Great scuba diving, swimming and snorkeling directly in front of the condo right off your own private soft sand beach. Buddy Dive at Belmar a full service dive center is located just 300 meters away. Our beach is private. No other dive boats on top of you! We have made many enjoyable dives in front of VINIBU. Advantages; No dive sites to drive to; upon exiting you have a fresh water shower, rinse tank and gear storage immediately available. Nothing could be easier for those early morning/evening dives or snorkeling!
Bellevue is constructed over one of the few natural sandy beaches on Bonaire. It’s a great spot for beginner divers with the sand entry and exit, not the iron shore which is prevalent around the island. The magnificent reef drop off is 50 meters off shore in approximately 35 feet of clear water.
In the evening, enjoy a cool drink as you await the “green flash” as the tropical sun majestically settles into the Caribbean. You could not have a better view anywhere on the island then from your own private terrace!

- Animal lovers be sure to visit Bonaire's Donkey Sanctuary. Enjoy a quite seaside picnic scenic at Lac Cai. If you want a party atmosphere, visit Lac Cai on Sundays. Alternatively, just enjoy our private (not man made) beach which is one of the few on Bonaire to just relax and enjoy the sun, soft sand and surf. Additionally, secured scuba gear storage is ocean side with rinse tank & fresh water shower.

Vince began scuba diving at age 13 in the Manasquan Inlet in New Jersey. In the days before mandatory certification, he was self-taught.
Although there were many enjoyable trips throughout the Caribbean over the years, Bonaire's spectacular diving, perfect weather, and easy pace always beckoned, and, in 2005, we were the first buyer at Bellevue from the plans of the site proposal and chose the coveted 3rd floor corner unit (#9) which was to boast fantastic seaside views. The first thing that attracted us was the site! There was a beautiful natural soft sand beach directly in front. Additionally, the site was far enough away from the airport that noise from planes would not be a factor. Construction took over 3 years to complete. We were the first to stay at Bellevue in the latter part of 2008 and currently spend 5 weeks a year there.

very nice amenities and very clean. No complaints but someone should look at electrical cords etc. around TV and Stereo. The cord was brown indicating a surge and could have resulted in fire in extreme case. We found alternate cord so no problems but wanted to make sure you were aware. Also. we ended up with a couple of towels in our car....we are staying at different place for 1 more week and plan odropping them off at rental office. Thanks

We loved our anniversary stay at VINIBU! When we can return to Bonaire, we will not consider staying anywhere else. It was very clear to us that the owners (Vince and Nina) come down and spend a lot of time in the unit themselves. This was clear because all the finishing touches make this condo seem like more of a home than a rental! It didn't feel like other vacation "rentals" that we've stayed at in the past; it felt like we were staying at a very well maintained family member's vacation home. That is a big difference that made staying at VINIBU a cut above the rest! We can't wait to return to the "terrace balcony from heaven" for more amazing sunsets every night! My husband and I rented the unit for a 10-day stay in Bonaire. It is impeccably well looked-after and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was awesome: all brand new pots and pans and cooking utenslis. We spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the view, but when we were not we were out enjoying the amazing reefs as divers and snorklers. I would definitely recommend the unit for anyone who wants first-class accommodations on Bonaire.

We've stayed in many properties around the world with various four-five star ratings, and VINIBU rivals, if not exceeds, these places. Upon arrival, we were completely mesmerized by the gorgeous views from the expansive veranda and the entire home. VINIBU was everything we hoped for in a vacation home and more. You can tell that Vince & Nina have a lot of pride in their home. This is not your typical vacation rental -- no cheesy 1980s decor or cheap furniture. The furnishings, decor & local art (I even purchased a few Janice Huckabys after seeing the reef painting on the wall as a souvenir) are all tasteful and the home well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a chef needs to cook a great meal to be enjoyed on the open-air veranda, with fine wood furnishings and comfortable lounge chairs. The place was comfortable and cozy, made possible by the owners, and the property was perfect - clean, new and amazing location. Staying away from Kralendijk was perfect and the location in the south part of the island made it ideal for quick access to the gorgeous southern dive sites with a double-reef system (visit Angel City and Hilma Hooker for fantastic dives). Divers will enjoy the nice set up for cleaning gear and storage of equipment, and nothing beats waking up early for an easy morning shore dive off the "house reef". Overall, VINIBU gets our vote for top place to stay on the island. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on any future trips to Bonaire. We found paradise here and it certainly made our trip!

We are also voting this as the # 1 Bonaire Condo!!!!! From the moment we walked into the apt. we could not believe how blessed we were to find this home. It was everything the listing said it was and more. You can't put into words the view we had from the balcony. We were on the island for 2 weeks so we were able to see what was available for rentals. Vinibu had the best beach and easy access to snorkeling or diving that we could find. Each day we would snorkel out and find "our" Moray eel and see lots of neat stuff on the way. The guest book that was in the apt. gave us lots of tips on where to eat and best spots to to snorkel or dive. The mid-week call from the owners to see how we were doing and if we had any questions was nice. VINIBU spoiled us- we won't be able to stay anywhere else while on Bonaire. Thank you for sharing your home.

Vinibu is right on the ocean. The picture is accurate The apartment has everything you need. It is clean and up-to-date. We have been there twice for our winter getaways. It is great for snorkeling and diving but the beaches are mostly coral so you can not walk or run on them. Still I would recommend this property very highly. The owners are very friendly and responsive. There are lots of great restaurants within 5 miles.
