Welcome to our Bonaire beach condo. Vacation in a spectacular upper floor 2 bedroom/2 Bath Oceanfront Condo located on a private soft sand beach with million dollar romantic Caribbean views.
OK, the “voting” was only my wife and me, but it's really beautiful and the beachfront view from our 3rd floor corner terrace is simply AWESOME! We’ve been traveling to Bonaire for over 20 years and were looking for the “perfect spot”. Being the first purchaser at Bellevue (the project was in the building plan stages), we were able to purchase the coveted 3rd floor corner unit. This provides excellent security with fantastic scenic views from the living room, both bedrooms and seaside terrace.
Our search criteria:
*Peaceful BEACHFRONT location with breath taking ocean sunset views with a private Seaside terrace. NOT on a lagoon, man-made canal or marina.
*The safety and security of upper floor living with fantastic views from all interior windows. Outdoor privacy on the seaside terrace for intimate meals, sunbathing etc.
*Private natural soft sand beach (rather difficult to find on Bonaire) with a great dive site right in front; easy entrance/exit into the sea.
*Away from the hustle and noise of Kralendyk. Although Kralendyk is an intimate picturesque town, we tend to avoid it when a cruise ship is in port.
*Fresh water pool which directly overlooks the ocean.

The brand new beachfront Bellevue Condominium Residence (10 units, construction completed latter part of 2008) is surrounded by a tropical garden and is located just 10 minutes south of Kralendyk, in an exclusive Belnem neighborhood of prestigious oceanfront homes.
The Belnem coastal area offers the finest ocean frontage on Bonaire. You will find the location to be safe & convenient with local on island support to assist your every need. Each condo has an intercom system to control access to the building.
An elevator takes you up to our secure 3rd floor corner unit which we named VINIBU. The spacious living room opens up onto the beachfront terrace which provides a sweeping panorama offering seemingly surreal views of the dazzling turquoise Bonaire waters, Klein Bonaire and the mountainous north part of the island.
The soft sandy beach and Caribbean Sea are literally steps away! In one minute you can wade into the 80 degree gin clear water, take a dip in the pool, relax in the poolside hot tub/spa or just enjoy the privacy of your covered balcony as you sit back & enjoy the sunset. Marvel at the ever changing hues of the diaphanous blue water & watch the dolphins which swim by in the early morning hours.
Our airy condo is all one level, no stairs. Architecturally, VINIBU is constructed to take advantage of the refreshing trade winds (one of the many benefits besides the upper-floor 180 degree seaside view) which blow east to west & naturally cool the rooms. All window parts that open have screens. Not only are the 2 bedrooms air conditioned, the kitchen and living/dining rooms are also completely air conditioned. The option is yours; au natural cooling with the trade winds and ceiling fans or air conditioning throughout.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the guest bedroom a queen bed. The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the Caribbean; the guest bedroom opens up onto a small terrace which overlooks the east side of the island. Each has an en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower.
For those occasions when you want to “eat in”, a modern fully equipped kitchen is provided for your comfort which includes all granite counters, a full size oven, broiler, ceramic cook top, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, electric kettle, outside grill on the seaside terrace, dishwasher, all dishes/utensils etc. Additionally we have; cable wall mounted LCD TV, stereo, I Pod docking station, hi speed PRIVATE secured broadband ADSL internet connection (no WIFI with "spotty" connection issues), clothes washer, and linens & towels are also provided. A secure electronic safe (large enough to accommodate your laptop) is in the unit to store all valuables.
For us, the main activities are scuba diving, swimming and snorkeling which can be done directly in front of the condo right off your own private beach. Buddy Dive at Belmar a full service dive center is located just 300 meters away. Our beach is not a public dive site so you are assured of complete privacy. No other dive boats on top of you! We have made numerous dives in front of VINIBU and have enjoyed them all. No dive sites to drive to; upon exiting you have a fresh water shower, rinse tank and gear storage immediately available. Nothing could be easier for those early morning/evening dives or snorkeling!
Bellevue is constructed over one of the few natural sandy beaches on Bonaire. It’s a great spot for beginner divers with the sand entry and exit, not the iron shore which is prevalent around the island. The magnificent reef drop off is 50 meters off shore in approximately 35 feet of clear water.
In the evening, enjoy a cool drink as you await the “green flash” as the tropical sun majestically settles into the Caribbean. You could not have a better view anywhere on the island then from your own private terrace!

Year Purchased: 2005
VInce began scuba diving at the age of 13 in the Manasquan Inlet in New Jersey. In the days before mandatory certification, he was self-taught. He happily dove into adventures along the Jersey shore until his first trip to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands at age 22, after which there was no looking back. Anxious to do all his diving in the Caribbean, he purchased a condo on St. Croix in the 80s and vacationed there for many years. He sold the condo on St. Croix after his first trip to Bonaire in 1985, intending to travel the Caribbean looking for his next island home. In spite of many enjoyable trips throughout the Caribbean over the years, Bonaire's spectacular diving, perfect weather, and easy pace always beckoned, and, in 2005, he bought Apartment #9 at Bellevue which then was merely a set of plans. Construction took 3 years to complete. We were the first to stay at Bellevue in the latter part of 2008.

Belnem boasts some of the most luxurious private seaside properties on all of Bonaire. You'll find that neighboring properties along the shore road are priced well in excess of $1.5 million. It also has some wonderful small beaches not accessible to the general public. Belnem is quiet, yet only a ten minute ride to Kralendyke the main town on Bonaire. Rest assured, you will not be over run with cruise ship passengers when the ships are in port.
Additionally, the location is just ideal to access the southern dive sites as well as the windsurf facilities located at Lac Bay. We view the Belnem location to be absolutely ideal which is why we chose this location to purchase.
