This was an ideal spot for our family reunion. There were 12 of us who came together from all parts of the country to visit, eat and play at the Steeg Ranch for two full days and three nights. The amenities met our every need without being pretentious, allowing for a relaxed, casual vacation. We enjoyed playful games of horse shoes, bocce ball, pool and charades. We also took advantage of nearby Joshua Tree National Park for hiking and sight seeing. It's a deal!

We had a great weekend at the steeg ranch! So secluded and great views. Close town but you don't want to leave!

My experience was certainly different from the previous reviewers. I was very disappointed in the condition of the Ranch. It's a far cry from newly remodeled. It had old mattresses, stained/ratty carpeting, dirty old lineoleum and a scummy shower curtain. I could go on. On the plus side, it has a great fireplace, good location and nice views. If you're looking for something that sleeps alot of people and aren't picky about the asthetics then Steeg Ranch is for you, otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

We have a group of 11 with 5 kids and stayed here for 2 days during Xmas. It is a wonderful experience and we even saw a pack of four coyotes right outside the windows one morning. The owner is very friendly and kept the house tidy and clean. We will highly recommend this place.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here over the New Year's holiday and even got the extra-special sunsets we ordered from the owner! She was very easy to work with and made the process a pleasure. Everyone had a lot of fun with the hot tub and the bocce balls in the backyard! The house is roomy and worked well for the ten of us on the trip.

It is beautiful house and location in the Mojave Desert with plenty of room. You can enjoy powerful views of the desert, get closer to the nature and get away from big cities. We love it! The owners were extremely nice people! Thank you.

We love it there! We stay twice a year and there is nothing better if you are looking for peace solitude and the desert, but still want a nice place to stay. The Sibley's are wonderful!

This is an absolutley great rental! The house is secluded and very well kept. I have stayed here several times now and have my next visit already booked with many more to come. The layout of the house and guest house allow for a very comfortable stay for a large group or family. Play a game of horseshoes or sit back and whistle away all your stress while enjoying the beautiful sunrise/sunsets. The Palms restaurant and bar is a few miles down the road. The Palms is fantastic place to have a nice meal or kick back, have a beer and good conversation with the friendly bartenders and locals. Steegs Ranch is the very best of Wonder Valley!!!

A group of us stayed in the house and found it to be wonderful. Plenty of room for all of us, beautiful sunsets and night time stars. We found the house to be clean and well kept. We will stay there again.

We loved the quiet! And there was so much space - inside and out! The owner was extremely nice and very easy to deal with. We will definitely stay here again on our trips to Joshua Tree National Park.

We spent several wonderful days here. The house worked out very well for us - a remote location with lots of room for a large family. The bunkhouse was great for the boys and they loved it. It was a short trip to Joshua Tree Park and the house had all the amenities you could want. We really enjoyed the game room and pool table. The owner was a joy to work with and the whole process was quick and easy. We plan on coming back and renting the Stegg Ranch again. Had a great time!
