We purchased this unit for ourselves and have furnished it with better appointments then the typical rental. Remember, this impeccable condo is one of the few at Casa del Mar that is situated within a few feet of the sandy beach. The remodeled unit features a large master suite with king sized bed and full bathroom. A second bedroom suite has two full sized beds and a full bathroom. Both oceanfront bedrooms are separated by the living areas, affording each bedroom maximum privacy. This makes this the perfect choice for either a family or adults travelling together. This beachfront unit has the following advantages over other two bedroom units in Casa del Mar which are set further back from the beach:
1) At 1650 square feet, it is over 200 square feet larger than the typical 2 bedroom; 2) both bedrooms are oceanfront, as opposed to the majority of the other 2 bedroom condos which have a floor plan where the second bedroom has no ocean view or balcony. 3) It has much larger balcony space and provides room enough outside on this balcony for a dining table, lounge chairs and deck chairs--all completely private!
The granite kitchen and its upscale appointments--Brand New stainless dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, is fully equipped for you stay. There is also a private laundry room with Brand New washer and dryer.
The new bathrooms have Golden Marble countertops, Stone detailed flooring inlaid between Crema Marfil, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, custom mirror trims, new toilets, sinks, alder cabinetry, accessories and more!

When I arrived at Casa Del Mar, I couldn’t believe my eyes. You can see straight through from the open-air lobby to the ocean and mountains just beyond the pools. I could hardly wait to explore!
Once I could tear myself away from the incredible view from the spacious balcony at our condo, I headed poolside. My favorite pool was the one built right into the sand. Bear in mind, my fur keeps me pretty warm so I certainly appreciated the ocean breezes that kept me cool while I relaxed in a lounge chair shaded by a colorful umbrella. I have to confess I’m not much of a drinker, but I thoroughly enjoyed my pina colada at the swim-up bar. What a refreshing treat!
The condo also offered some great amenities that I was “beary” excited to take advantage of. I don’t speak much Spanish, but I was able to keep up with all my favorite shows thanks to the TV satellite that broadcast US channels. I loved the iPod docking stations in the bedrooms and I listened to my favorite songs as I got ready for a night on the town.
Cabo San Lucas offers plenty of entertainment for social bears. With all the restaurants and bars along the marina, it was hard to decide where to go each night. We also enjoyed renting jet skis at Medano Beach and snorkeling to Santa Maria Cove. Although I was a bit scared of the waves at first, I decided to grin and bear it and I was truly glad I did. The views from the jet skis and the catamaran for our snorkeling trip were too good to miss!
My trip to Cabo was one of my favorite vacations. I would recommend it to any bear looking to practice his golf swing, test out his snorkel gear or just work on his tan!

Why the Owner Chose Casa del Mar
Hello...we are Eric and Jacqui Weiss and we own two rental properties at Casa del Mar Resort in Los Cabos. As avid travellers, Eric and I spent much of our time together as newlyweds travelling the globe. Our mutual love for seaside locales led us to Bora Bora, the Amalfi Coast, Costa Rica, Panama, Hawaii, and throughout Mexico to name just a few. When it came time to purchase a second home, though, there was no doubt that Los Cabos would be the place. For over 20 years we have escaped to Cabo and although it is a mere 2 hours from Los Angeles by plane once we are there it seems we have stepped into another world. The climate, the people, the ocean, the way of life made it an easy choice. The reason we chose Casa del Mar was also quite simple--it offers the most exclusive, luxurious environment but without the hassle of some of the larger resorts. Located in the Corridor--midway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo--Casa del Mar is one of the only "low-density" resorts in Cabo. Built by the famous Corona dynasty this resort features acres and acres of lush oceanfront land but with a only very small number of condos and a boutique hotel. This is not a high-rise resort with people packed in to optimize dollar potential...Casa del Mar is truly a magical and unique setting. It still offers all the upscale amenities like a World Famous Golfing, Spa, restaurants, bars, numerous swimming pools, tennis courts, and more as well as being direct neighbors to Las Ventanas Resort. So...we bought our second home here in 2004 and enjoyed our beautiful ocean view one bedroom condo for years. Then we had two children and found that we needed more room. Once we decided we were going to buy another condo--this time a two bedroom--it was a simple decision of where our new place should be. Casa del Mar Golf Resort and Spa!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Because we already owned a one bedroom at Casa del Mar and spent many years enjoying it and the resort in general we had a very good idea of where the best condos were at this resort. We looked endlessly for just the right unit and because of our familiarity with the resort we knew where we wanted to be. We chose this unit, La Playa 201, for many reasons. First of all, this unit is OceanFront. There is not a thing between this unit and the gorgeous Sea of Cortez--except about 100 feet of sand! We are on the second story so the views and privacy are incredible however the front door of the condo is on "ground" level so that means no steps--which is great for bringing in kids, groceries, luggage, etc. This condo has no steps inside and the bedrooms are separated by the living areas. This is wonderful for our family but also for renters travelling with two couples. Most of the 2 bedroom condos at this resort have one small master bedroom with the second bedroom directly behind it meaning the second bedroom does not have views or patio access. Also, other 2 bedroom condos have smaller living rooms or windy staircases (difficult to navigate with suitcases, children, etc.) Additionally the reason we chose La Playa 201 was because of its location to the resort amenities. We are just steps to the hotel lobby, restaurant, bar, spa, main pool and parking. However, because we are oceanfront we do not overlook the main pool and restaurant area which some of the other condos do--making our unit less likely to hear the resort noise. We are also just a few steps to the famous Las Ventanas Resort from this condo as well--and we often head there for sushi or drinks in case we feel like something a little different but dont want to get in the car. Truly, this condo is the Perfect vacation spot and we invite you to stay at our home away from home.

Eric and Jacqui Weiss have two boys and live in Pacific Palisades, California. Eric owns a talent agency and represents broadcasters from around the world. Jacqui is in residential real estate in the Los Angeles areas. They have two sons, Benjamin and Zachary. Although they love Southern California, any chance they get they pack up the boys, their swimsuits and head to one of their two vacation homes at the Casa del Mar Golf Resort and Spa in Los Cabos Mexico.

My husband, daughter and I stayed in this beautiful condo over Christmas 2011. It was one of the few vacations we have been on where we didn't want to leave. First of all the condo is wonderful- very well appointed for cooking, dining and overall relaxing. Directly on the beach, the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep each night. Morning coffee and breakfast on the huge balcony started each day. Several mornings we watched the whales migrating. The pool right outside the door was private and quiet and the larger pool offerred every amenity you would expect from a high end resort. The food at the resort was good although a bit expensive. We ordered pizza one night from a restaurant near San Jose and they delivered and it was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. And the grounds are lush and impecably groomed. Another big plus was the wifi in the unit and the wonderful detailed instructions the owner left for operating the TV and VCR. Lots of channels to chose from too. We have stayed at many resorts and condos and this was the most relaxing stay we have had. Very quiet and private and we never felt it was crowded or we were fighting for space at the pool. The beach along this stretch is also beautiful. Lots of white sand and hardly any vendors. We have finally found the spot we will return to again and again.

I had the opportunity to stay in this condo in June 2011. I tend to greet online photos and descriptions of properties from afar with great skepticism, but having been recommended by a friend I trust who had stayed here previously, I took the plunge. And boy am I glad that I did. My every expectation was seriously overdelivered upon. The condo itself is spacious, tastefully decorated, sparkling clean, and brilliantly located. It features a full kitchen with all cooking instruments and implements that one would need. (I loaded up at the hypermarket and made good use of it.) The huge oceanfront patio, with BBQ, affords a spectacular vista and the sliding doors to the two bedrooms enable you to go to bed and rise up to the sound of nothing but the ocean's waves. The bathrooms are spacious and exquisite. Laundry facilities in the condo are helpful. The complex in which the condo is found features a luxury hotel with extensive amenities including pools, tennis courts, restaurant, and bar, as well as a beautiful beach. The condo complex alongside has a dedicated pool as well. I found the location just outside of Cabo to be perfect--close enough to the hubbub, but fare enough to allow for classiness and quiet that can be lacking in town. the owner is very accommodating, kind, honest, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. 5-star all around. Highly recommended. My only complaint is that I didn't have more time to enjoy it for longer!

I'll begin by saying I'm a very picky traveler, so a high recommendation from me carries a lot of weight among those who know me well. I had a great time staying at this condo. It was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. We arrived at night and the staff at Zoetry/Casa del Mar promptly helped us with our bags and showed us to the unit where we settled in. Since it was getting really late, we stayed at the resort for dinner the first evening. We went to the restaurant on the sand and arrived just as they were closing, but the staff was happy to stay open late to accommodate us. There were three servers attending to us and their first priority was making sure we were enjoying ourselves. The next morning, I drew back the curtains and felt I was in paradise when I saw blue oceans as far as I could see. After a lovely breakfast on the patio, we went to the main pool for a day of relaxation. We were greeted by Fermin, who works at the pool and became our new best friend for the weekend. He was extremely attentive and made us delicious drinks. The pool wasn't overcrowded and consisted of a mix of very friendly hotel guests and condo owners. That night, we headed into town (about 30 minutes) to have dinner at The Office, where you dine on the sand. One of my friends forgot her iPhone in the taxi and called the resort to see if they could track it down. Not only did they find it, but they also sent someone from the resort to deliver the phone to her by the time we were done with dinner. The resort has truly incredible service! The next day, we spent the morning at the main pool and the afternoon at Las Ventanas, which is right next door. Definitely visit Las Ventanas during your stay. The third and final night, we went into town again and dined at a great Italian restaurant (name escapes me). Leaving the next day was the hardest part! I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend this condo for its beautiful location within a resort with impeccable service.

I could not have been more pleased with this condo! La Playa 201 was extremely clean, comfortable and luxurious. It is right on the water- you literally fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing, and it feels like you have your own private beach right outside of the condo. It was obvious no corners were cut in design- stainless steel kitchen with complete appliances, marble and stone bathroom fixtures- and a beautifully designed huge balcony. I highly recommend eating dinner at The Mezquite Grill- dining right on the sand by the water at Casa del Mar- delicious seafood and other grilled entrees. The staff at Casa del Mar was extremely accommodating and helpful. My husband and I loved enjoying a glass of wine on the patio's chaise lounge chairs while taking in the beautiful view. I highly recommend this Casa del Mar experience- a truly luxurious, private stay. I already can't wait to go back!

We stayed at this condo for ten days in June 2010 and it was beautiful. Condo was clean, absolutely oceanfront with beautiful views and it was well-stocked. Three flat-screen tv's with DVRs, free Internet and long-distance phone as well. The owner sends directions on how to use everything, including password info for the free Internet, ours worked great the whole week, even by the pool. The location is great because it's halfway between the two cities and not a lot of people at all on the beach. We used a car service from the airport which stopped at the grocery store for us, which was nice. However, taxi's are VERY expensive ($40 roundtrip to grocery store) and there is only one restaurant at the hotel, so for the money it's better to rent a car. A car would be a must if you're looking for nightlife. The restaurant is just a few steps from the condo, and we had dinner delivered on several nights and ate out on the porch, which was beautiful. The only downside is that if you are not staying at the hotel, you are not allowed at one of the pools which is right down on the beach, this is the pool that has lounge chairs on the beach. The owner of this condo kindly supplies chairs and umbrellas for use on the beach though. The other pools are clean, with great views and swim-up bars, so not being able to go to that one pool isn't a big deal. All in all, this condo is absolutely worth the money if you're looking for a clean, upscale, private experience.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your place in Cabo. The hotel property was beautiful and your condo must be the best in the whole complex. The trip was so much fun. When we were planning to go to Cabo we thought we would stay at the Cabo Surf Hotel since my kids surf. But we are so glad we choose to stay at the Casa Del Mar instead. We rented a van and so it was very easy to drive to the surf beaches as well as into town. We loved the long white beach and had a great time riding horses in front of the unit. Most of the time we felt like we had our own private beach….so beautiful! We loved waking up early and drinking our coffee on your balcony. All in all it was the perfect place to vacation and we definitely plan on returning. Actually, I have given your info to a couple of other families who will be contacting you soon!

The description was accurate, as were the photos. The condo and the surrounding property really over-delivered. Great pool and nice gym. I didn't use the spa but it looked gorgeous. I would highly recommend this condo to others. Beautiful view of the sea and there are very few people on the beach. The owners responded quickly via email when I had a question. The restaurant on the property was delicious. The general feel of Casa del Mar is peaceful and clean. I knew we wanted to come back some time in the future so I scouted out a few other condos, but concluded I am going to re-rent this property when we come back next year.

While I stayed at Casa Del Mar with friends, my first thought was to bring my wife back for another stay. The condo is perfect: modern and classy, luxury without being over the top. It is a place that feels like your home immediately as you walk through the door. The layout is very flexible: two couples could feel like they have their own privacy, or a family could split the two bedrooms between parents and children. MY FAVES (for the condo): The deep balcony is luxurious. The view is NOTHING but blue water. You could spend your whole time on the balcony, there are multiple chairs, loungers and a table. The buff colored river stone shower is heaven. Huge, clean, and new. FAVES (for the Casa Del Mar property) The property itself is stellar. Walking through the large entrance to the pool is stunning: ocean, mountains across the water, palm trees. Petals are placed in the fountain by 6AM! Details like this abound. Something I want to do when I bring my wife and kids back: they will serve you a mesquite grilled dinner on the beach, while you enjoy a large fire pit and torches. Finally, a memory for your family that doesn't involve Transformers or Disney princesses. I have stayed at many 5/6 star resorts as the result of being married to the art director of a travel magazine, and I would put my experience at this condo and this resort at the very top. I will be coming back, I can't recommend this Casa Del Mar experience highly enough.

We had an absolutely perfect vacation staying here! Everything was wonderful, the condo is perfectly appointed and was everything we could ask for. We rented the condo with another couple so it was four of us plus two infants and it was an excellent layout for two families - we never felt as though we were in each other's way.

This was my first ever visit to Cabo. I love Hawaii and I have continually told my friends that Hawaii is the ultimate vacation. I have to lower the level of praise for Hawaii and will now direct it to Cabo. Specificially Playa 201. The condo looks directly at the water. Everything was perfect. Beautiful scenery. Sleeping with the screen open at night to hear the waves crashing against the beach. I soaked up the sun by day, cooled in the air conditioned condo by afternoon, dined and wined at the best resturants at night and slept to the sound of the sea. How much better can life be? Thank you to the owners of this condo for sharing their paradise home and for being such generous hosts as to provide satellite, free calls to the USA and wireless Internet.
