    We had the best vacation!! The owner was very nice and considerate! She really went out of her way to make our vacation happen!! We booked last minute and she was extremely helpful!! We will always be greatful to her!! We rented the whole unit. We had Mother-in law, my son,his wife, thier 2 children,my daughter and her daughter,and myself and my husband. We had plenty of room!! The children enjoyed the toys and various games for renters use!! We had everything we needed for a great time!! We used the baby gates and highchair. I highly recommend this rental if you would love to be right on the beach and bring all your family!! Words cant explain how beautiful it is!!!I can't wait til spring I will be renting this again!!!

    From the beginning stages of planning to our fun-WOW week trip, the owner Linda has been a great asset for questions, provisions in the townhouse, supplies, fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and the best part WE WERE RIGHT ON THE BEACH!! We walked out of our unit directly to the beach. The nieghbors were friendly and the kidos loved to play together on the beach or deck and we even saw the dolphins play. We had all ages: 3 months to senior citizen------------Linda place provided for all of us. The place was clean, well-stocked, and very roomy for all 3 families (just like in the pictures). We cooked most meals in and explored local restaurants a couple times for fresh fish. The location is convenient for grocery stores, gas stations, drug store and restaurants. Our goal was to find a location so we could be close to the beach (with 5 children 6 and under) and to have a place that would house all 11 of us------------this is the perfect place. My vote is to come back next year and make it a "family tradition".

    My family (4 kids, 4 grandkids, and my sister) and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and well stocked with everything (just like home), including bath wash in all the bathrooms. Just bring your own beach towel and you will enjoy! There are 3 floors with 3 balconies and I had to try all 3. The views are magnificent and amazing! I loved having my morning coffee off the living room balcony. I really enjoyed grilling hotdogs/hamburgers a couple of nights with the kids while watching the ocean waves. Soooo relaxing!! At night, it was great sitting on balcony reading my nook, star gazing and listening to the ocean. Heaven!! Their are 2 bedrooms on the bottom level with a little kitchenette (sink, fridge, mircowave, coffee maker) which was really handy for drinks or snacks for those downstairs. Linda was great to deal with and was easy to reach if we had any questions. Her welcoming notes made me feel truly welcome when I first walked in. We discovered a great restaurant, Pompano Joe's, within walking distance, about a block or so. The food was great, there are out side decks with live music (relaxing), and you can just throw something on over your swimsuit or dress up, whatever you prefer. Another favorite of mine and my family is Mcguires at the other end of Hwy 98 toward Destin Harbor. They have daily lunch specials for about $6.79 and their food is awesom with large portions for feeding a large bunch. The nachos alone will feed up to 6 people for $10.00! It's rated the 2nd best place to eat in Destin. AJ's is another favorite. They have outside dining with a view of the harbor and fishing boats and the food is great. My sister and I tried our hand at deep sea fishing and had a really great time. The kids went para sailing. My favorite times were those when we were all on the beach though! My youngest grandson had a blast (he's 3 yrs old) looking for seashells and little fish to put in his sand bucket. The older kids loved playing frisbee in the sand. I can't express how wonderful it was to have my family there and to see the wonderful time they were having. It was such a blessing! One day, me and my grand daughter got up early and walked out to the ocean and she said, " Nana, it's so beautiful here, I keep thinking I'm dreaming, but I'm not." And she was right, it was like a dream, a beautiful dream that you wake up from with wonderful, happy memories. I thank you Linda for helping to make this a dream vacation! God Bless!

    If you are looking for a top notch place to stay in Destin that is family friendly, right on the beach and a great deal, LOOK NO FURTHER! This townhouse was a place of pure relaxation! It begins with very nice furniture, an air condtioning system that works wonderfully and keeps everyone (on all three levels) cool and EVERYTHING you need for the beach. Linda went above and beyond making our vacation exceptional. Our bedroom, the master, was beautiful and the matress was just like home. The decks are super nice and very inviting for sunset and dolphin watching. The kitchen has everything you could need and we cooked almost all of our meals for our entire family of 8. The dining table was perfect along with the bar and stools. We could all sit together and eat and talk. Beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, movies, puzzels and games were all waiting for us if needed.     What a wonderful place. This was perfect for a couple with teenagers. Each of my kids brought friends and they could stay up late and watch tv downstairs and not bother us upstairs. Love, Love, Love the layout of this townhouse. So much better than a condo. Parking was a bit of an issue, but we figured it out. A solution may be to have better lines dividing parking for each complex and mark them. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable as was the furniture. Loved being right on the beach. Really can't say enough great things about this place.

    Whenever we stay in Destin, we always stay at the Sanddollar. In fact, we wont stay anywhere else!! We plan our trips around Their availability, not the other way around. My husband and I have stayed there with our dog many times and obviously we LOVE IT. The beach is private, so it's not crowded-I love that. Since we do think so highly of the townhome, we decided to share our secret getaway with my husband's family. We had a little family reunion there for Memorial Day-actually the whole week before. All the relatives kept raving about the amenities and the price. It made me smile that everyone loved our secret place. We had ages ranging from 1 yr to 65 yrs old and it was perfect for everyone! Not to mention Pet Friendly- a must for us!! There was enough room for everyone without feeling like you are in someones way. When we wanted privacy, we went to our sleeping quarters. We had the bottom floor to ourselves w/ full bath and nicely furnished kitchenette. They couldnt believe we were Right on the beach and didn't pay an arm and a leg. They mostly enjoyed the beach, whereas being a photographer, I enjoyed taking in the beauty and relaxing on the deck. It was so great because all you have to do is turn your head to the left for beautiful sunrises, then look to the right for breathtaking sunsets. Its located in the perfect place. Not many people can say they can see the sunrise & sunset from the exact same location. Besides relaxing,swimming,cook-outs and taking photos, we left there with such special family memories that will last a lifetime!! Thank you Linda! Truly, Lisa

    Family of 10 had comfy beds to rest in after long days on the beach. Decks were great on each level so everyone got up on their own schedule. We recommend - early to see the dolphins. Furnishings were tastefully done. Plenty of linens, but be sure and bring your own beach towels. Neighbors were friendly on each side of the condo. Don't plan to get down to the beach if you can't negotiate a steep spiral staircase. The washer and dryer were a true blessing. We had a few surprises and the owner was most responsive in getting the maid and maintenance services to take care of them within 24 hours. Local restaurants (Pompano Joes and Crab Trap) were really very good and not too crowded. The drug store and grocery store were very close, so don't worry about forgetting anything. All in all, we would stay here again.

    Owner response: A portion of the back steps is spiral, but not the medal kind that you may think of. They are heavy wooden step, no steeper than normal. There are hand rails and also hand grips and also we have that fuzzy tape on the edge of the steps to avoid slips.

    We just returned from a wonderful week. This townhouse was perfect for 6 adults and an almost 2 year old! We have already asked about renting next summer! The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. The owner has furnished the townhouse very tastefully, including beautiful original paintings! Plenty of beach chairs and lots of kiddie toys! This is a great location, near restaurants and the outlets. The beach is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home!

    This condo was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 infants. Everyone had a place to sleep with plenty of common area to enjoy. Three decks with views of the beautiful beach and ocean. The condo is older, but was clean and had everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of extras for families-games, movies, books, etc. The owner was so helpful and accomodating. She made us feel right at home in her home. Great location. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and/or family. We hope to rent again next year!

    My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It was a clean well maintained home. We all felt very comfortable and safe there. There was restaurants and attractions within walking distance or just a few miles ride. The owner is a wonderful person and was available by e-mail to answer all my questions in advance. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a stress free vacation.

    This was a perfect place for our family to stay. We were told that it was kid friendly and it was. There were plenty of toys for our kids. We came with 3 familes and we all had plenty of room and privacy.We loved the views from all the decks. We saw dolphins every day. We will definatley be visting this townhouse again. It was nice to walk out the door and be on the beach. We loved this house and no one wanted to leave. Thanks for the memories. We have been to Florida for the past 4 years and this is by far the best vacation we have had as a family.

    Nice place for families with young children wonderful location on beach (clean) we had my husband & I with our 3 children & 3 grandchildren. We enjoyed our time there and the time we had with our family. Recommend eating Pompono Joes which is a skip & jump away & beautiful view of water while eating. Also has an Alivins Island within walking distance to shop and enjoy and ice cream. Thanks to Linda & her family for sharing there place we appreciate people like them opening their homes to others.

    The townhome was exactly as advertised and pictured. Everything in the house works except 1 upstair VCR. The decks has smooth 2x8 studs that I and my children can walk barefoot. Beach entrance was excelent and right on the beach. The AC is so cold that we love it. I caught 10 hardtail (blue runner) on the surf with my sabiki rig. It was fun.

    This property worked out perfectly for our family of 7 adults and 2 little ones. Plenty of room and amenities, very comfortable and homey. Great to be able to walk right out on the beach! Nice to not have to bring lots of baby and beach equipment. Great having a washer and dryer and dishwasher, too.

    My family and I (with three children) very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and very accomodating to our needs, with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The beach area wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. Many times we saw dolphins swimming by. The location of the property is very convenient to all you need in Destin, including grocery, shopping and restaurants. One caveat: the people who own the adjoining condos may be renting to "spring breakers" who have no regard for other renters. This became an issue a couple times during our week-long stay: drunken, rowdy behavior, standing on balcony railings, beer-bongs, cursing, parking in our parking space. I felt sorry for the people renting adjacent to this group of idiots.

    Owner response: When college spring break happens, they are all over the place. The previous two weeks were college break weeks so I a surprised that there we still a group there that week. I also rent to spring breakers during the times I know it will be covered up with breakers. Only families at all other times. Sorry John, I guess there was a few trailers or else it could have been a high school group. I have no say on who my neighbors rent to. I came in the week after John, all families, except for lots of high schooler, but not in our building.

    My husband and I have visited this property twice and have had a great time each time. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and well kept, the main living area is quite large and opens to a nice deck. I can't stay in the sun for very long, so I especially appreciated the covered deck on the lower level. I could be right by the beach, relax and read or play cards and not get blistered!! The location is the best. You can walk right off of the lower porch onto the beach without having to go through a hotel lobby or worry about elevators, etc. It is near lots of good restaurants and the outlet mall and shopping areas are really close. The sand is so white and is just gorgeous against that aquamarine water. I would reccommend this condo for its size, location and price as one of the best deals around. Theresa S Atlanta, Ga

    I have stayed at a lot of places in the Destin area over the years and this town home is one of the most relaxing and convenient of any of them. The owner and her husband were very nice and made us feel like we were renting from friends. If you like being on the beach this place is hard to beat!

    Dear Linda ~~ Thank you for opening your beach house up to our family for our vacation. We had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for our family and the our friends who came with us. We especially loved all of the porches overlooking the ocean. We drank coffee in the morning watching dolphins and grilled out at night watching the sunset. We enjoyed having restaurants and ice cream parlors so close that we could walk to them. Thank you for having so many beach toys for my children to play with while we were there. Thank you again, and we look forward to using your beach house again for our next vacation. I look forward to seeing all of the upgrades that you have made!

    I have stayed in this rental several times over the past few years during the summer. It has a great view of the ocean and the owner was a pleasure to work with. My family will definately take advantage of this location again!

    When we arrived the door was unlocked!! The trash was all over and smelled by the front door, what an impression. We were surprised how dusty and dirty the building was; e.g. louvers on furnace door, heat vents, balcony, beach porch, trash in container on the beach porch, ashtrays, bar-b-que pit lower shelf, trash left on balcony, dishwasher (dirty water standing in bottom). We had young children with some allergy conditions and asked before we rented, via e-mail, about pets but not DUST & DIRT. Our family didn't want to ruin the vacation so we grined and bore it but upon contacting the owner (who was going to be down the next week) was not given any satisfaction. I contacted the web site via e-mail and also no satisfaction. The owner did not come down to property as stated above so they could not see the problem just believed the management company that it was normal wear!! My check had not been cleared until I informed owners. Therefore, I could have easily stopped payment but I, in good faith, paid full price thinking as morally concious people the deposit would be more than we gave. What a fool I was, but not next time!! So don't be fooled by the pictures on the web site. Remember you can't tell when they were taken and dust, dirt, etc dosen't stand out. NEVER AGAIN

    Owner response: Regarding the resonse from MK: This customer got to the unit before check in time, the maid was still working and the extra trash man I hire for Saturdays had not been there as yet. Maid was rushed out. . The renter did not even notify me of her dissatisfaction until after her visit. When I explained and apoligized it became apparent that she was hoping to get some extra money back. She got a great value on the beach and her deposit was returned in full. I have many wonderful notes from renters saying how great their vacations were, I am a mother and grandmother of 7 who loves to take the whole crowd to the beach and also wants a great place for them. I am supper conscience about giving my renters value and a nice place for their vacation and do everything within my power to do that. We have spent over $35,0000 this year alone on new decks, carpet, doors, paint. cabinets and a NEW DISHWASHER and washer and dryer, ect.. Our maid is reliable and does a good job between renters. You will not find a more roomy, confortable and pleasant vacation spot on the Destin beach front at this price. And by the way, our beach has been restored and is really great now! Have Sun, Linda.

    We enjoyed the beautiful view and the beach was great. We took walks every day. The area was close to restaurants and shopping. We went biking and enjoyed all the beautiful flowers. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs and everything was well kept. We plan to try to vacation here again sometime during this year (2008). We have told our friends and family about it.

    The thing that we liked the most is you can walk out the back door and your right on the beech. You have all kinds of room in the condo. We had our children and grandchildren and there was plenty room for everybody. The way you have the condo laid out everybody has their privacy. The maid service was excellent as she had everything clean and ready for us when we arrived.We all had a great time. THANK YOU very much and we will defnitely come back again.
