This upside down post and beam house is surrounded by conservation land and is your paradise on Nantucket, minutes from the beach. You can enjoy unobstructed ocean views of Madaket Beach and the beautiful Madaket sunsets from the large upper-level deck where you can relax with your family on the teak dining set that seats 8 & the 2 steamers overlooking a large yard (cushions provided)! This house fully-stocked for your convenience with: towels, beach towels & 4 beach chairs, fans, linens, soap, shampoo & conditioner, hair dryers and paper goods.
The house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped (cable wireless internet incl). The living room, kitchen and 1/2 bath are upstairs. The living room has a 40' flat-screen TV w/ digital cable + DVD + surround sound with outdoor speakers, an iPod docking station and a large collection music, games, movies and books. The kitchen is equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances (range, dishwasher, fridge and microwave), a great blender (vita mix), drip coffeemaker, tableware for 8+, many small appliances, spices and seating for 6.
The two bedrooms are on the main floor w/ quality updated linens and duvet comforters. The master bedroom has a King-size bed, walk-in closet & its own 32' flat-screen, DVD + cable + surround sound w/ access to lower deck where there is an outdoor shower and a large porch swing (sunbrella bed). The guest bedroom has a Queen bed and closet. In the basement, there is a full-size futon and full bath with tile shower + washer/dryer with another flat screen TV & DVD player. There is a Godzilla-size gas grill outside. The yard is very large and the perfect place to play with children. It is extremely safe, private and you can relax on the large hammock. Nature is everywhere around: birds of prey, swans and even turtles in Long Pond down the sandy road at the bridge. The beach down the street is beautiful and always quiet.

Why the Owner Chose Madaket
We've owned this house for 5 years. It was our dream to own a piece of property on Nantucket and we are so thrilled to have chosen Madaket. We've spent the last few years updating the interior and exterior of the property. When we spend time at Chateau Relaxo, our favorite passtimes include relaxing on the large deck, listening to music while sipping a frozen drink. The outdoor speakers and powerful blender come in handy! There are other ways to unwind - the hammock and large porch swing come to mind, but also taking a stroll down to the bridge or the beach.
