Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
We enjoyed visiting and staying in Estes Park for many years. When we decided to build a new home, Estes Park was our choice. It has "Rocky Mountain National Park", "Plenty of Wildlife Viewing" and is a unique "Mountain Community". It's a great place for family vacations.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Watching the stars and listening to river flow by while relaxing in the "Hot Tub" at night. Starting and ending the day on the Deck where we enjoy the warm sun, a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, and abundance of good food. The Deer, Elk, Red Fox, Humming birds, Squirrels and other critters delight the eye and warm the heart. Inside, the home is designed to maximize your private areas with your own balcony, and private bath. The master suite is expansive and includes a restful sitting area, fireplace, balcony, jet tub and more. Downstairs you will find a handicap accessible bedroom ideal from Grandma and Papa. Each is a theme room. The living areas are open and offer a upscale kitchen, breakfast bar, two dining areas, sun room, great room and loft. Again, the "Library Bedroom " on the first floor can be made up into a King Bed.
Owner's Map of Estes Park
My wife Ann and I started renting our home as a "Vacation Home Rental" last year. We are retired and have homes in New Zealand and Iowa. When we are away we thought we would share our home with families that would love and respect our home as we do. Friends and family are what makes life rich, and each of our homes are filled with gatherings, good food and laughter. We designed the spacious home to utilize the beauty of the river, the native trees, mountain surround, and wildlife gathering spot in the wetlands across the river. Estes Park will bring you back year after year.

We had a wonderful time gathering our family here and a week just wasn't long enough! We enjoyed the fabulous weather, multiple drives into Rocky Mountain National Park, Dining, Shopping, Whitewater Rafting, Hiking and Horseback Riding. We saw many Elk, Deer, Moose, Mother Bear with her Baby, Chipmunks and a Marmot. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Thank you so much for sharing your little bit of heaven with our family. The beauty of your home and its surroundings speak of the kind of people you are. We enjoyed getting to know you through the photos of your family. We had a peaceful, spiritual, and relaxing get away from our busy lives. We hiked, shopped and enjoyed preparing delicious family meals in your kitchen. We felt at home and pampered. We will rebook in 2011.

Great Place! Great Time! The house made it so comfortable and nice. We looked forward to coming back home after a long day's hike, rafting and flyfishing. It was awesome place to refuel and gear up for the next day's events. The Hot Tub was also so essential to rejuvenate the sore musles. We definitely look forward to coming back!

Our family can not begin to express how much we have enjoyed your home this week. It is rare that our entire family can be together, so when we can we try to make the most of it. "Castle on the River" provided rhe perfect means for one amazing week with family, nature, and numerous unforgettable memories. The warmth of your home allowed each and everyone of us, something we will take with us and look back fondly on.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! This is our second time to stay here and we are excited to return. The weather has been so gorgeous and cool, especially compared to Texas summers. The details of your home make our stay extra special. Our youngest daughter fell inlove with the teddy bears upstairs. Already looking forward to our next stay at "Castle on Fall River".

When Marge and I walked thru the front door we sensed the warmth of your home. This was more than confirmed as we discovered the multitude of even the small details. Everything reflected the blessing from God to you both.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family! We love Estes Park. There was a very Large Elk by our deck the first evening, which the kids thought was amazing! We loved the "Hot Tub" too.
