Enjoying Mediterranean style relaxation
VRBO Bear stayed here - 08/19/2009 Location, luxury and style would be the words to describe the Anacapa Villas in Santa Barbara. Set one street back from the popular State Street, one can walk to attractions such as Paseo Nuevo, the beach and a wide choice of culinary and retail delights.
The villa itself is spacious, luxurious and architecturally reflects the Mediterranean style that is typical of Santa Barbara. There is a 2-car garage with keypad entry system that leads directly into the villa. The downstairs area is a tastefully decorated open kitchen, dining and living area that is fully equipped with a big screen TV and entertainment system. French doors lead from the kitchen to an outdoor patio and garden where we enjoyed grilling on the BBQ and having a glass of local wine!
The first floor features the master bedroom with a luxurious in-suite bathroom containing a large tub and two-person shower. There is a second double room with in-suite bathroom and a double sleeper couch on the landing between these rooms. On the second floor is yet another king-sized bed with in-suite bathroom. There’s plenty of space for the entire bear family!
For the kids, there’s a playground around the corner from the villa and the beach is a short walk or a trolley ride away. There is also a free swimming/wading pool near the harbor area that is a short walk from the beach pier. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes walk of the villa or numerous takeout options available should you choose to dine in.
