Windswept Ranch is a stunning, newly constructed property set on fifteen mountain-ringed acres. From every vantage and every room, some of the most wild and beautiful land in America can be seen. Wide terraces wrap around the gabled, five-bedroom house, just steps from a large swimming and fishing pond that reflects the big skies and iconic mountains of Wyoming.
The ranch’s main house is lined with tall windows, framing the sweeping views outside. There is a massive, double-sided stone fireplace that separates the two-story great room from the dining room, a perfect setting for dinners by the blazing fire on a winter evening. Off the dining room is a gourmet kitchen; further on is a queen guest bedroom and bathroom.
The first floor also holds a wine tasting room, complete with a small bar and a Steinway grand piano, a private study, and a family room adjacent to the kitchen that opens to a terrace with a stone fireplace, a covered walkway and an outdoor fire pit. Upstairs is the king-bedded master bedroom with a dressing room and private bath, three additional guest bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also on the second floor is a small office, and a spacious game room with a large, U-shaped couch that is as inviting for lounging as it is for spillover sleeping.
A well-equipped one-bedroom guest house sits to the side of the main house. Windswept Ranch feels extraordinarily private and secluded in its magnificent setting, and yet Jackson is only ten minutes down the road. Beauty is abundant here; the sky is dense with stars at night. Windswept Ranch is a grand retreat for a family or group of friends at any time of the year.
