Hi Vivian! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had the pleasure of staying in the 2nd floor unit while attending TBEX11 (travel blog exchange) in Vancouver this month. I highly recommend this home both units are above and beyond what you normally find in a home rental...in fact more than you find in any ones average home...can you say gourmet kitchen!! And, the beds are comfortable, you don't find that in every rental! I need to come back when there is more time to explore and take advantage of the bikes and ride along the coast to Granville Island! I wrote more about my stay here, http://www.theflyingpinto.com/2011/06/1068.html Thank you again! It was the perfect location too for enjoying all the city has to offer yet so tranquil after being in the city all day...oh, also we were in town during the Stanley Cup finals and the buses were full and it was hard to catch a cab one night so another plus is it's only a 15 minute walk into town...we did it;)!!!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in the upper level of your beautiful home (Apr. 14 to 18). The photos on your web site hardly do justice to this lovely suite! I want to thank you for your graciousness and hospitality. It made our stay truly delightful and our trip to Vancouver a treasured memory.

Vivian, Thank you so much for the stay at your beautiful home. It was such a treat for us. We are away from home so much while touring with the ballet company so it was a welcome relief to be in such lovely surroundings. And thank you again for the flowers and champagne. We left the flowers as we still have a week of touring left, but we appreciated it so much. We are in Vancouver every year and we will be sure to contact you. Regards, Tara

Dear Vivian, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your lovely flat. It was really an ideal place for us - the location could not have been better and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. I trust that we left the flat in satisfactory condition. I am certain that we will want to book again for next summer, and I will be in touch as soon as we figure out the dates of our trip. We're thinking to come later in the summer - although the weather was very nice most of the week, we were thinking we'd likely have warmer weather a bit later on in the summer. Thanks again! Best regards, Gary

We rented the entire house. The owners live in the basement of the property, they 'KEPT' coming in to the rental part of the house 'WITHOUT PERMISSION' both when we were not there and when we were, without even knocking. The owner decided to come across the back patio when we were entertaining guests with his 'cat litter' Make sure you like cats there are three who continuously came into the house as it was there home! Not good!
Owner response:I am the property owner responding to this review. Tim, I have reviewed our correspondence at the time you arranged to rent our suites. I think it was very clear that you would be renting 2 separate suites both with private locked entries and the lobby was clearly identified as a common area. Monet was shown the space at your request and was fully aware that we lived in the lower suite as she came into our suite so there were no surprises. I feel the main problem was the fact that you did not inform your guest the type of accommodation you choose to rent for them. They obviously thought they were occupying the entire house which was never the case and you were fully aware of that. Your guests were also not informed about our rules with regards to no late checkouts and the check out time was 10AM. Again they were very displeased when they became aware of that as they were not planning on leaving until 3pm and I had other guests arriving at 3pm. I do not feel it is my responsibility to make any apologies to Susan as you are the one I dealt with and you misinformed your guests the information about what you had rented for them. I have copied Susan on this email so she can see how poorly you communicated the accommodation to your guests. Regards Vivian

We spent four days in the two-bedroom suite portion of this home. This is a comfortable well appointed home that has been remodeled to accommodate our every need. We had absolutely no problems and could not have been happier. Very convenient to all areas of the city.
