Let us pamper you in our new, spacious (600 sq ft), one bedroom mini-suite with equipped kitchen, bath w/jacuzzi, washer, dryer, TV/DVD and garage parking. French doors from living area open to private wood deck located along wooded area adjacent to golf course. Queen bed accommodates 2 people only.
All facilities and activities are within minutes. You can be as busy as you like, or unbusy as you like and do it your way.
Bed linens, towels and kitchen items furnished. You bring preferred toiletries, food and enjoy. Because of drought conditions - no grilling at this time.
A 50% deposit is required for all stays and the balance is due upon arrival. Deposit is fully refundable up to 30-days before check-in, when deposit becomes nonrefundable.

Nothing like feeling like you are home on your vacation. The place was very clean and the pictures posted are very accurate. Only 2.5 blocks to beach access for walking or only a short drive to the public beach which has wheelchair access and modern bathrooms that are also very clean. The weather could not have been any better high 80's. The owner is very knowledgeable about the island and surrounding areas. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the near future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay and the Dollyanna suited are needs to a tee! Close to the beach, but not so close that we were disturbed, we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the deer walking down the street! We fell in love with Jekyll Island and will be back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

First of all, she portrays the "dolyanna" as being on or near the beach, but in fact is over two blocks away. Very inconvenient to have to drive to the beach especially at the rate she's charging . Also, the thermostat was set and LOCKED at 78 degrees making sleeping very uncomfortable, the rock hard bed wasn't helping either!! Lastly, this tiny condo is off of the owners house which is irritating if you are wanting privacy not to mention she calls the phone in the room about twice a day. Owner or previous tenants must have had pets cause we experienced flea bites during our stay. Overall, we should have just stayed In a hotel room at the beach.
Owner response:Like a child caught cheating, the above review reflects the intellect of the tenant that was escorted off the property by the state patrol for violating our rental agreement. We uphold the quality of the Dollyanna and respect the privacy of each tenant. The comfort and enjoyment for everyone is our primary interest. Seldom do we encounter a situation where the tenant tries to take advantage of our commitment.

The apartment was more than we could have expected it to be. It is well maintained and was sparkling clean. The photos were exactly as described in the ad. The owner met us on arrival to give us a tour and made us feel very welcome. Don't bring your linens, they are all supplied and replaced on regular basis or more if necessary. It is located at the end of a short dead end street in a very quiet neighbourhood, It is next to the golf course and miles of the wonderful biking and walking paths on the island. Book early as this place is rented quickly. I have already booked for our next trip to Jekyll.
