Condo Bella Vista is part of the Condominio El Faro complex sitting more than 300 feet above Santiago Bay and the warm, blue Pacific. Our west-facing balcony is a perfect place to watch whales or enjoy spectacular sunsets over the water. But this is only half the view, because the 600-square-foot balcony wraps around this top-floor end unit providing 270 degrees of breathtaking scenery, including sunrise over the inland mountains that surround the city of Manzanillo and the lights of the city beneath sparkling star-filled nights.
Newly renovated and first-time on the rental market, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath contemporary unit is a perfect getaway for two couples or a family of four to five. The 14-foot ceilings and large windows throughout give the 1776-square-foot unit a bright, open feeling that draws in the spectacular outdoors, giving you the feeling you are living on top of the world.
Condominio El Faro (the Lighthouse) sits along the top ridge of the Santiago peninsula that separates Santiago Bay on the north from Manzanillo Bay on the south. Peninsula de Santiago is home to the most exclusive real estate in Manzanillo, including the famous Las Hadas resort that attracts visitors from around the world. While El Faro may look like a resort, the atmosphere of the complex is quiet and laid-back. If you want a resort, visit Las Hadas. If you want a home away from home where you can feel secluded in your own private paradise, choose Condo Bella Vista.

A Private Vacation Condo with Spectacular Views
Year Purchased: 2008
Why the Owner Chose Manzanillo
We thought we wanted an oceanfront condo. But when we walked into Condo Bella Vista, the views literally took our breathe away. The beach is nearby and accessible. But the views of the ocean and surrounding mountains are just too awesome. We knew we were home at Condo Bella Vista.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The vistas are spectacular, the pools are wonderful, the other condo owners are interesting and fun, and it's all in the perfect location with easy access to everything Manzanillo has to offer.
A collection of everything from fruits and vegetables to pottery to household goods. Open only on Saturdays.
An old fishing village that now is a collection of open air seafood restaurants that is perfect for a day at the beach.
Within a few blocks there is Commercial, Sorona, Wal-Mart, plus dozens of other smaller retailers for groceries and general merchandise.
The pink hotel is a good place for breakfast or to watch the container ships slip into the inner harbor while you enjoy happy hour.
A nice day trip with lots of shops, a large market, and numerous restaurants. Be sure to stop by Club Social for a drink and free tapas.
Owner's Map of Manzanillo
Growing up in Texas, we've traveled throughout Mexico. We honeymooned in Ixtapa, experienced hurricanes near Tulum, explored the mountains above Puerto Vallarta, and enjoyed family beach homes on the Sea of Cortez. When we first visited Manzanillo in 2007, we fell in love because it's a wonderful mix of ocean beauty without the tourist hype...a relaxing place to escape work and, hopefully, the place we retire to one day.

Since our original visit to Condo BellaVista in 2009 we have visited Manzanillo and returned to Condo BellaVista annually. Each time on our return we find that our hosts have continued to make improvements to the condo to make it even more luxurious, comfortable and accommodating. Changes have included small things like kitchen appliance upgrades or decorative touches, to major improvements such as new terracotta flooring throughout the condo and major bath remodeling. It's obvious that Jack and Cindy take pride in making sure that their guests are treated to the very nicest of accommodations during their vacation in Manzanillo. We plan to return and continue to highly recommend Condo BellaVista for your vacation in Manzanillo.
Owner response:We are so lucky to have Tom and Connie stay in our condo each January through March. They are perfect guests, and even though we have never met them in person, feel like they are long-time friends. They definitely have become part of the El Faro "family." We hope to develop new friends like Tom and Connie who will enjoy Condo Bella Vista every year. Please consider trying our comfortable condo the next time you visit Manzanillo.

Our trip to Manzanillo was our first time in Mexico and we can't wait to go back! We had no idea what to expect, but Condo Bella Vista was absolutely wonderful. Spacious, clean and comfortable, with amazing views. We spent a lot of time on the porch just relaxing and taking in the scenery. It really felt like a home away from home. There is wifi (very important to us!). The kitchen is fully equipped and fully functional and grocery shopping is very close by. Guidebooks and maps are provided and really helped us get our bearings. The owners were very responsive answered all of our questions before and during our stay. The beds are comfortable. What more could you ask for? The condo is in close proximity to so many different beaches, each with its own personality. Some of them are walkable, but we rented a car and were able to visit even more. When we weren't interested in the beach, the pools at the condo complex were great. Everyone we ran into at the complex was very friendly and helpful. With all the beaches, the pools, a day trip to Colima, shopping and restaurants, our trip to Manzanillo flew by. We definitely will stay at Condo Bella Vista when we return - and perhaps bring some friends!

What a stunning place. So big, spacious, airy and comfortable. The views are fantastic and although Manzanillo is a great place to visit I could have spent my whole vacation in the condo and at one of the 3 fabulous pools. The ocean breezes keep the whole place cool even on the hottest days. And the maps, menus and booklets provided at the condo were so helpful for someone who had never been in this area before. We loved our time at Condo Bella Vista.
Owner response:Kris and Bob had never visited Mexico before. They had a great time and had no trouble getting around Manzanillo and surrounding areas. Hope they visit again soon.

Having visited Manzanillo many times over the last 25 years, Condo BellaVista is by far the nicest we have rented. Everything is new and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage. Rooms are spacious with comfortable, attractive furnishings. The condo has Wifi access, a beautiful new HDTV and stereo, and even an attachment for my iPod. Most important, the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. And the view from the wrap around terrace is fantastic. Although this is a relatively large condo complex (5 buildings), it is very quiet. And Condo Bella Vista at the top floor of Building 1 is very private. The three swimming pools on the property are beautiful and our neighbors charming and friendly. Muchos Canadiense, eh! El Faro is close to everything on the peninsula - golf, tennis, swimming and snorkeling a five minute walk away on Audiencia beach, and for longer beach hikes the 5 mile long and flat beaches of Santiago Bay are just down the hill. Shopping is a only a 10 minute cab ride or drive away and there are all types of restaurants nearby, some in walking distance. The owner was very helpful in getting us established and has checked on our satisfaction. Happily we have had little problem. All in all, this is the perfect setting for a great visit to Manzanillo. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our return We can highly recommend Condo BellaVista . It's worthy of its 5 star rating.
Owner response:Our goal is to provide a relaxing, comfortable home away from home that will give our visitors everything they need...and more...to have a fantastic visit to Manzanillo. We are pleased that Tom and Connie have found our condo to their liking, so much so they have rented our condo for three years in a row.
