This mountain retreat was purchased as a get-away for our family of 4. We like having 3 bedrooms so that we can bring another family with us and still have plenty of space. Our children learned to ski and snowboard at Durango Mountain and absolutely love it.We also enjoy coming in the summer because the weather is PERFECT, compared to Texas in the summer.

Wonderful Escape from the Heat!

Our family of 5 and my sister's family of 3 stayed together and had a wonderful time! The air was cool which was a welcome change from Albuquerque (our home) and Norfolk Virginia (sister's home). The place was lovely and well equipped with everything a large group like us needed. We hiked from our front door, but the national forest was only a mile away and had excellent short hikes that led to beautiful mountain lakes and rock formations. We also grilled at the community barbeque and took a dip in the hot tubs-all were well-kept! You can go river rafting, fishing and horseback riding within 15 minutes of the site. I also highly recommend taking a break from the strenuous stuff and take a dip at the Trimble Hot Springs-very refreshing and only 20 minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful week at Cascade. The condo itself was great; with plenty of space for the 6 adults staying- a good combination of privacy and open space in the unit. We enjoyed the on property fun of tennis, hot tub, pool and hiking. This was also a good location for off-site adventure; Million Dollar Highway, Mesa Verde National Park, white water rafting, train to Silverado and more. A week to remember!
