Our luxurious studio is situated directly on the white sands of Madeira Beach, located between St Pete Beach and Clearwater. There are waterfront views of white sandy beaches and amazing turquoise water. The sunsets have to be seen to be believed.
This large studio is furnished to the highest standards. Large sliding doors lead out on to the balcony where there is a café table and two chairs for dining outside. There are also two sun loungers. This private, south west facing, balcony offers spectacular views of the sun setting over the Gulf and during the day you can watch the dolphins playing in the shallow waters.
The full kitchen with breakfast bar includes microwave, ceramic top stove and a dishwasher and large fridge freezer. There is also a full-size washer and dryer. All bed, bath and kitchen linens and towels are provided.
The modern bathroom has marble washbasin and vanity unit, bath, shower and toilet. There is a large Murphy bed with a thick, very comfortable mattress. There is cable television, a CD player with radio and tape deck. The unit is on the eleventh floor and right next to the elevator.
The amenities at Ocean Sands are brilliant, including a large heated pool and Jacuzzi, beach showers and deck space with sun loungers. Close to the pool area is an expansive sundeck with loungers, a tiki wet bar and BBQ area.
It is a short walk from the shops, library, banks, tennis courts and numerous restaurants. John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk is just 1.5 miles away.
Ocean Sands has a long-standing reputation as being among the nicest places to stay, a quiet, secure atmosphere that attracts the nicest people. Guests return year after year. The many full-time residents insist that the building, grounds and pool area are clean and well maintained.
Madeira Beach is a lovely, quiet coastal resort town, only 30 minutes from two airports (TPA and PIE). A convenient airport shuttle service directly to Ocean Sands is available. Disney World is only 90 minutes away.
Broadband Internet with WiFi is available at a small cost, payable locally.

Thank you for our stay in your condo. We enjoyed every minute. The sunsets were truly amazing and the view unbelieveable. We could have sat on the balcony all day just gazing out at the Gulf. The condo was clean and modern.

We found the condo to be very comfortable and well equipped. Everything you could possibly want is at your disposal. We liked the fact that we could walk to the grocery store, Post Office and the Library. 7 Eleven is right across the street. We will return.

This will be our second stay at this condo and we are looking forward to our vacation. The condo is clean and well maintained with all the necessary things to make the stay enjoyable and care free. Situated on the eleventh floor of the building directly on the beach, you have a perfict vantage point to watch the sun set each evening. We would highly recomend this condo to any couple who are looking to spend some quiet time together.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

we have stayed at ocean sands for several years, always in one of the studio condos which were out dated and not in great shape, then we found barbars condo which was very mondern and most importantly clean and well kept and this is our third time there and hopefully we can rent it every year we go to maderia beach.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

The photos were just as It looked.The view was perfect and the balcony spacious enough to eat out /and/ or. lounge on.Lounges were provided. It was clean, washer and dryer worked well, everything one needed was in the kitchen. Do not need a car as grocery shopping is just across the street. For a nice walk across the causeway to see the Herons, etc there are more shops. A trolley car runs from Clearwater to St Petes` right outside . The only negative was 'back strain from daily lifting the Murphy bed up and down which was quite heavy to manouvre. Half an hour to Tampa by car, or bus. We are going again next year.
Owner response:We have replaced the large heavy mirror on the underside of the Murphy bed with much lighter mirror tiles, therefore it is now much easier to lift.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
