I just spent 3 nights in the Creople Cottage with 5 other adults for the BCS National Championship game. We could not have been more pleased. From our host, Donald, to the beautiful home and grounds, to the quaint, safe and convenient neighborhood, everyone in our party was quite impressed. We will definately stay here again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

My girlfriends and I LOVED staying here this past Memorial Day Weekend. A quick walk to Frenchman's St along with cafes and bars even closer, there was no need to ride the streetcar. We walked everywhere since the location was so ideal. The street that the cottage sits on is quiet and neighborly. The cottage itself was clean, charming ,and, from my cramped Bay Area standards, offered more than enough space for the primping and lounging needs of six girls. Loved the ages-old fireplace and floors. Since it is such a historical landmark, we did have to take care of the tempermental A/C, heat rising to the second floor, and narrow path to the door. Note that the second bedroom on the second floor must access the stairs and bathroom by opening into the main bedroom. Wished we could've spent more time in the awesome back patio, but it was hard to resist the call of the city. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a good location just outside of the French Quarter.
