We really had an exceptional stay at Casa sul Giardino. The flat is even more gorgeous than the pictures can possibly show! the village of San Quirico is so lovely and and is located close to many places both "not to be missed" and off- the beated path. If you enjoy wine, the home of Brunello in Montacino is only minutes away. We enjoyed a morning hike out to the Castle and the expansive views it offered (that was just one of the many tips the thoughtful owners have gathered for their guests). We were sad to leave and anyone considering a trip to Italy can't miss by staying here.

This location was perfect for our honeymoon trip. We wanted to relax, enjoy good food and wine while exploring different tuscan towns...and this place had everything that we were looking for - simple, clean and perfectly located. We also were provided with lots of information including hiking trails and restaurant recommendations which were very helpful. The flat is located in a small town which was lovely for the days when we did not want to travel too far, but was also surrounded by plenty of other enjoyable day trip destinations. We loved the feeling of having our "home" to come back to...and the beautiful view of the gardens to wake up to. We strongly recommend this property; thank you for this wonderful vacation destination!

We had a wonderful time at Casa sul Giardino. The flat is gorgeous and what a view of the beautiful park! We loved the town and went to three restaurants that you recommended, which we really enjoyed. That book of information you prepared was extremely helpful, by the way! We had the perfect vacation in Italy and San Quirico d'Orcia was the perfect town to be after running around Rome for 3 days! It was just what we needed to relax and we tell everyone they have to go there now! Thank you so much for renting to us. We can't say enough how great the trip was.

Our stay at Casa sul Giardino was immensely enjoyable. The apartment is lovely and well appointed with gorgeous views. San Quirico d'Orcia is a terrific town off the beaten path that is not overrun by tourists. It is simply wonderful to sit in the piazza outside Bar Centrale and take in the sights and sounds of life. We particularly enjoyed hiking to other towns in Tuscany from San Quirico like Pienza. Hiking through the rolling hills of Tuscany with its backdrop of cyprus trees and picturesque buildings is worth every step. We also enjoyed the cuisine of the region and of course the tremendous wine selection. Hiking from Montefollonico to Montepulciano was also enjoyable and the procession of a wedding through the town excited everyone. Because we enjoyed exploring the area around San Quirico we did not make it Siena or other towns that are nearby. The restaurants in San Quirico were delicious and we appreciated the outdoor seating. The sheep's cheese which is typical of the region is worth the calories. We would definitely return to casa sul giardino on another trip!!

Our stay in your lovely apartment in San Quirico d'Orcia exceeded our expectations. Truly the photos show how the beauty of the apartment. It is wonderfully located in the heart of Tuscany. From here we explored the many, many wonderful towns - large and small, back-roads, spas, wineries, etc. Our stay was the highlight of our three weeks in Northern Italy. You have created a warm, comfortable environment for your guests. Every need has been considered. Your information regarding restaurants and surrounding was a wonderful addition. We enjoyed our excursions as well as our relaxing time "at home" listing to your smooth jazz, sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun change the mood over the lovely garden viewed from the windows. Thank you for sharing your home - we look forward to a return visit. Frank and Pat

As seasoned travellers, Casa Sul Giardino exceeded our expectations in all respects. We found it a spacious, comfortable, restful and well equipped apartment. Its perfect position near the centre of town, with all windows overlooking the 14th century Horti Leonini Gardens, was an added bonus, as well as providing us with "front row seats" to several summer evening musical performances. We frequented the friendly Bar Centrale, a two minute walk away, for our morning coffee and evening aperitivo. Also within a few minutes walk were several excellent restaurants, and our favourite, Da Ciacco, is not to be missed, especially if you enjoy seafood. A small luxury was the opportunity to park our car day or night without charge, just outside the town's wall and within 200 metres from the apartment. Supermarket and other shopping was close enough to be done on foot. Most of the visitors we encountered seemed to be Italians, which created a decidedly non-tourist feeling about the town. All in all we had a very memorable stay in San Quirico and would return there, and to the apartment, anytime the opportunity presents.

We spent a week in the apartment which is lovely & bright overlooking a box garden. The location was perfect for exploring both central & eastern Tuscany. The town has some good places to eat & a lovely wine bar on the main street where one can sip vino nobile de Montepulciano & watch the world go by. Pienza is very cclose & also a lovely place to visit. Overall we a a wonderful time & would certainly think of returning. Also Bernhard & Many supplied us with lots of information as to getting there & where to shop etc.

We can't thank you enough for sharing this little piece of heaven with us. The beauty of the apartment, the tranquility of the village, the quality of the light, all conspired to make us forget yesterday's cares and tomorrow's plans. I could spend an eternity here.

Thank you so much for providing us an opportunity to explore the most beautiful area of Tuscany. It was great to stay 10 days in an almost non-touristic place and amidst impressive scenery! The apartment is so tasteful arranged and the view on the park is really lovely. The place is equipped perfectly and really great for any sightseeing endeavors! One of our greatest adventures was the train ride from Buonconvento to Florence, this was pure Italian life! Although it was very warm in August we enjoyed hiking and the warm evenings outside on the piazzas in San Quirico and Pienza watching Tuscan life. We’d love to come back!Friederike & Dominic

We had the most marvelous time in this lovely apartment in San Quirico. It was beautifully furnished, spotless, and in a perfect location. It was so evident that the owners take pride in their property. The list of restaurants, places to visit, places to shop were so helpful. We spent two weeks there and our only problem was : "WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE" CIAO!

Casa sul Giardino exceeded our expectations. Massimo was there to greet us and answer all our questions. The flat was spotless and very well equipped. The location was excellent and we enjoyed our morning coffee looking out on the gardens. San Quirico is well situated for travelling to the various hill towns and we made the most of it exploring a different town each day. The countryside is lovely -- every turn in the road reveals another beautiful sight. All in all we had a fabulous time and hope to return one day... We will certainly choose Casa sul Giardino again.
