We booked this house knowing that it was only a 3 minute drive to Shawnee mountain. It is literally across the street. The house is much bigger than the pictures and once you walk in, you feel very comfortable. All the bedrooms were very nice and spacious. The masterbedroom and the dining area has a beautiful view of the mountains. I love the open kitchen and we all love the easy to use fire place. All the bedrooms were very nice and spacious. The master bedroom has a loft with an air mattress and a pull out single sofa. I rented this house with my sister and her family. We had 4 adults and 4 small children (age 6, 5, 4, and 2). The kids took ski lessons for 3 days and they loved it. After the lessons, they would come home, have lunch and play. The basement is great. The kids were able to watch their cartoons down there, do their arts and crafts, and just have fun. There's also a seperate room with a bed in it. The men really appreciated all the updated dvd movies they were able to watch in the living room. What is also great is that the supermarket - Foodtown is a 5 minute drive. Very convenient. I will definately come back again!! I also want to mention that Lori was great! Great communication. I also got my deposit back very quickly. Again, Thank you!!!

First thing, Lori, Thank you for been so helpful and assisting in booking this vacation on very short notice. She was also very helpful on answering emails/questions/concerns. I had one question during the weekend and she returned my call very quickly. Now on to the house. Way bigger than it appears on the Pictures. In addition to the three bedrooms (the master has the loft with an airbed), there is also the basement which is Huge. One side of furnished basement is the game room, the other side has a bed. So, there are five sleeping places, and that's not counting the living room if more space is required. The amenties were great. My only concern came with the cleaning, I have baby, so i check everything because he is very actively. There places that had coats of dust. I understand that it is a big house, however, when you are paying $120 for cleaning fee's, the dusting could be a little tigher. Overall, this was great and would come back.

Everything was just as described in the pictures and reviews. My best experience came from dealing with Lori. This was a last minute rental and Lori went out of her way to accommodate us. It was such a pleasure dealing with her and I would rent from her again.

Perfect Ski Getaway

We have 3 children (ages 7,7 and 10), and we wanted to rent a home for a month and see if our children would like snowboarding at nearby Shawnee. We saw the townhouse on vrbo, and gave it a shot. It could not have been more perfect. My family felt COMPLETELY at home, and Lori did everything possible to make sure we had what we needed. The views of the mountain are FANTASTIC, the master bedroom bed very comfortable, and the whole house was soooo easy with a family (and my brother's family joined us, and it was STILL EXCELLENT). Everyone loved it, and I would HIGHLY recommend the home. It was clean, neat, well decorated, comfortable, and the location was perfect. THANKS!!!!

Pocono Paradise

What a great place - beautifully decorated, very clean, cozy and roomy. The pictures don't do it justice. We were two adults and seven teenage grandchildren. We all loved the place. The four girls took the master suite with the loft (big enough to set up two air mattresses besides the fold out chair). They were crazy about the super large and modern bathroom. The boys had fun down the basement playing at the foozeball table. The basement is huge and has an additional room that could make another bedroom. The view was perfect - directly across from Shawnee Mountain. At night, with the slopes lite up, it looked like diamonds sparkling. We also took advantage of the free use of the indoor pool and hot tub at Shawnee Inn. We knew we had a winner when all seven kids said that they want to come back next year for our winter weekend. I would love to come in the summer and take advantage of the many activities offered in the area. And this is the place - you won't find anything better.

A Good Time Had By All

When we arrived, we were amazed at how beautiful and well maintained the property was. The description was very good but the property actually looks a lot better than the pictures. The property was very clean and cozy. There were some games to play in the basement, courtesy of the owners. The amenities were on point. There was plenty of room to spread out. Although there were no leaves on the trees this time of year, we had a excellent view of the ski slopes. Some houses were decorated with Christmas light and it looked very beautiful. The fireplace was an extra bonus, very romantic. We did not venture out too much as this was a rest and relaxation trip for two couples. We did, however, go shopping and we also went to the casino. Wedding Weekend

WOW! That is the only way to describe this home. Very clean and comfortable! I didn't have to worry about cleanliness for the little ones. The beds were sooooooo comfortable! We were able to entertain extended family and many just spread out to nap in the afternoon! We enjoyed the deck for morning coffee, afternoon viewing of the trees and star gazing at night. My mom (75) and I enjoyed a game of foosball. Lori was so helpful, she helped us locate the house... up to the moment we got in the driveway. We will recommend this place to others but hope they won't book a weekend we want!

We rented the property for a girls weekend/reunion. It was perfect! Very spacious, VERY clean and well furnished. Kitchen had all the amenities you could need for cooking in and the location was close to everything should you choose to eat out. LOVED sitting out on the deck with our coffee in the morning and with our drinks in the evening. The property manager was very responsive, detailed and easy to work with. We would definitely stay at this property again next time we are in the area.

Were looking for a central location to get together with our daughter and her husband. Spent Mother's Day weekend there. Condo was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of kids in the complex but inside and on the back deck couldn't hear them. Owner recommended a local restaurant which was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place with everything we could possibly need to make this our vacation spot. Although we were 6 adults, the house is large enough to accommodate more. The perfect location for playing at Shawnee Mountain or using as a base for activities throughout the Poconos. Had a fantastic time and would recommend this place to families, couples, and friends looking for a well equipped place in a convenient location.

This is an excellent rental property. The house was clean, spacious and nicely furnished with all the comforts of home. Ours was an outstanding weekend in a magnificent home -roomy, spotless, and wondefully equipped from the kitchen to the huge bedrooms, the multiple baths, and the most enjoyable game rooms in the lower of three levels! This is a great house! It was like we were at our own home. Thank You for opening it up to us. It was absolutely spotless! 10 min or less from everything we needed and the kids loved the foosball table. The mountain view was so beautiful, our family had a truly memorable trip and we hope to get back there again for another great trip!

We rented the weekend of 12/26-12/28/2008. The place is LARGE and spotless. You won't be disappointed! You could not ask for anything better while your away from home.
