Designed to offer a comfortable blend of urban excitement and coastal tranquility, the Village Center is where you’ll find places to shop and meet. Nearby, also in the Center, you’ll find places to get a little exercise and the Windmark Club and an incredible community pool.
Turtle Glass accommodations are located in the Village Center, close to the beach with no structure between it and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico with just a few steps from the boardwalk to the beach. Floor-to-ceiling windows and many extras highlight this architectural find that is the perfect getaway for two!
For the days you are not enjoying the beach here are some other activities/places to enjoy. Visit the Historic Downtown Business District of Port St. Joe. The downtown area has been transformed into a strolling, browsing & shopping area. You will experience quaint shopping and unique dining experiences here. Apalachicola, Florida is only 20 minutes away. Here you will find charming boutiques and one-of-a-kind home furnishings, accessories, and antiques. I have been told that a great shop in this area is Avenue E, it's a must see.
Take a fishing trip from the Port St. Joe Marina. Surf Fish for dinner while the younger ones assist you or build sandcastles on the beach. Shipyard Cove Park offers a beach area, natural wetlands, a walking trail, park benches and picnic tables. A great place to end your day. Frank Pate Park is bay front and features a lighted tennis court & walking track, playground, boat ramp & a gazebo at the end of the pier. Picnic tables are grills are also available at this park. Forrest Park is located in the heart of Port St. Joe’s residential area. This park offers a public golf course, tennis court, playgrounds & several lighted baseball & softball fields.
