The perfect spot for boaters or beach-goers, Blue Allure in Bluewater is just one block from white sandy beaches (with no main road to cross) and less than five minutes by boat to the gulf. The swimming pool is just steps away and there are absolutely no high rise condos anywhere. Quiet family beach in one direction, miles of empty undeveloped beach in the other. Free city pier just a couple of blocks down.

Mexico Beach, on "The Forgotten Coast", is a little slice of Florida heaven. This is a very low key area with an Old Florida feel, but with enough shops for a rainy day. This area offers beautiful white sand beach and excellent boating. By boat it's just five miles across to St. Joe State Park on Cape San Blas; boat south to isolated beaches or take a trip down to Shell Island (and its practically tame dolphins) and the Panama City Beach inlet or go in the inlet at St. Joe bay and cruise the Intracoastal. Or go straight out to some of the best fishing in the Gulf.

Panama City is about 30 minutes in one direction, Apalachicola 30 minutes in the other. Also in the area are St. Joseph's Peninsula State Park, St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge. Parasailing and jet ski rental is available a few miles down the beach at the El Governor hotel, but far enough away to not spoil the beach at Blue Allure.
