Beautiful house the pictures do not show the beauty of the house. With teenage boys everyone had there own space. The area was quite and beautiful, we would stay in the house and area again in a heart beat. The house was clean and had comfortable beds. The only thing missing was a tea kettle. We loved the place, was perfect in every way. Had so much fun we could not contain ourselves, the lanai was just fabulous, nights spent there and days exploring the big island. This place was truly awesome thank for making our honeymoon perfect.

We recently spent four nights at the round house during a 2 week around the island Photography journey/vacation. The house itself was just wonderful The kitchen was well appointed, the beds VERY comfortable and the deck was a fantastic place to spend a morning having coffee, an evening dinner or just a great place to while away an afternoon reading and listening to the birds and the ocean(just a block or so away). Speaking of the ocean, WHAT an AMAZING place to watch the sun rise. Just a 3 minute walk to the ocean and you are at a VERY safe and beautiful oceanfront park. Walking through the neighborhood was a daily joy and the Entire Puna area was absolutely beautiful! We also looked at two of Mark and Ron's other properties and would me MORE than happy to stay at either.The Hawaiian Beaches subdivision was really Lovely and secluded and the town of Pahoa had nice shops and delicious places to eat(including a natural foods store where we got delicious meals twice). The Round house IS pretty secluded so do get some food on your way there and cook at the house. There's a little market on the road to the house that has some essential and wine and beer and such. Can you tell I LOVED this house and the whole area? I did. Perhaps the highlight of the whole trip was the four days on the Puna coast and at the Round house. Mark and Ron were AWESOME and so easy to deal with. One of the best vacation stays I've ever had, but Shhh, don't tell anyone! :-) P.S. A few people warned us that some of the Puna folks were not particularly friendly. That MAY have been true in the past but we never once felt anything but "Aloha spirit" from anyone we met in fact people seemed open friendly and generous at all times.
