ONE Cobblestone block to the very best beach in Manzanillo
1400 sq. ft (130 sq. mtrs) 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with 4 balconies equalling 550 sq. ft 51 mtrs. There are two great advantages of being on the fourth floor, privacy and an amazing breeze running through our home. There are 3 flights of stairs.
We are much bigger than most units at Villas de Menorca. 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed plus sleeping mats and a covered balcony.
Location:
Manzanillo, Mexican Riviera between Puerta Vallerta and Acapulco.
We are in an upscale gated community developed in the 1960's called Club Santiago. We are located in Bahia Santiago on the far North end of the bay.

The weather is in the low 80’s in the day and a delightful mid 70’s at night. Ocean temperature around 83 degrees. Fabulous ocean visibility.

The buses are wonderful and taxis are everywhere. Cheaper and easier to grab a cab than rent a car. Cab ride to town is $3.50-$7.00 depending on how far you go.
Food and Supplies:
The condo is totally equipped to cook, shopping is easy but restaurants are inexpensive and fabulous. The food is fresh and delicious.
You can walk to the corner store for supplies or two blocks to a decent sized market. There is a Supermarket further down the road. Our housekeeper can help you out.
In the immediate area there are 3 nice places to eat. One is pictured in the photos. Recently at El Oasis Restaurant a fine meal for two with bar drinks and tip costs us 450 pesos. That is about $33 US. This is an oceanfront wonderful restaurant, just a couple minutes from the condo.
What to Bring:
For a one week stay you need few light clothes, comfortable shoes, bathing suits, sun hat, beach towel, music recorded on USB sticks and a good book...and not much else.
Bugs:
Mosquito repellent just for sunset walks, otherwise not an issue except in the summer.
Amenities:
We offer beach umbrellas in our home to make a beach day all the more comfortable. Ceramic dishware, quality flatware, a stereo with USB, Egyptian linens, and many other amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.
Our housekeeper will come atleast once week to clean and change the sheets.
The beach is stunning…it is an easy wonderful place to go. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your time. The 3 mile beach is the finest around, the sand is soft and the waves gentle, sunset swimming, moonlit walks…
Activities:
Huge fishing area
Golf and Tennis
Two pools and a FABULOUS BEACH
If you are feeling like an adventure you can walk the 3 mile beach to the very sweet traditional town of Santiago, have a meal and take a bus or cab back....
Zero planning needed for a wonderful experience.
There are all sorts of other things like horse backing riding or taking a day trip to Colima or Colama. We enjoy the beach so much we haven’t done much else.

Club Santiago, Villas De Menorca at its Best
Year Purchased: 2008
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
When we are there we like to wake up early, put coffee in thermal cups and head down to the beach for the sunrise. Since we closed escrow April 2008 each of the three trips we have worked our butts off creating the home that you see, I even worked hard at getting the pictures you see! We went shopping in Tlagapaque and Tonala for all the pretty traditional things in our place. So the morning coffee at the beach was an important part of our day. Then to close each work day out at sunset we would take a shot of tequila down and swim in the ocean until dark. Sunset on the Pacific with a fine Mexican Tequila kissing my beloved...doesn't get much better...except walking home in my bathing suite and being comfortable in just a sarong.
Owner's Map of Manzanillo
Here are the owners on the left and our dear friend Irma. She grew up in Manzanillo and we vacationed there with her and her husband. They are very good friends of ours from Santa Barbara. Without them we would have never found Manzanillo.
Part of the motivation of buying there was I am trying to become fluent in Spanish. Manzanillo is a wonderful place to practice Spanish. The locals are so kind and helpful. I feel so a part of a small community. I keep saying Manzanillo but we really are in another area Santiago, although connected, is very far different. I share our home because we enjoy sharing and it is expensive to own a second home!
We will do all we can to direct you to a wonderful time in our second home.
