Where to start - We enjoyed every second of our two week Thanksgiving vacation in Viet & Liezl's Murray Hill apartment!! We are return vacationers to NY though have never stayed in this area. We just fell in love with the size, ammenities and decor of the apartment, not to mention all the closet space! We loved that everyday we walked out and saw the Empire State buliding and that two grocery stores were a skip away. We had all the needed items to cook a home made Thanksgiving dinner, thank you for the extra plates & glasses :) We became regulars during our visit at a near by pub and always felt so comfortable and safe getting home and relaxing in 'our very own' NY apartment!! Next time we visit, my in laws said they want to stay at this apartment instead on the Upper West Side. They'll have to arm wrestle me for it!! Thank you again Viet & Liezl, you make coming back to NYC so easy & memorable. Peace & Love~

The apartment is older than it seems in the photos, but it´s clean and have very good equipement. We feel comfortable there and we were at the center of Manhattan, so we could go walking everywhere. The owners have been really kinds, helping us to solve some personal problems

I was with 2 friends in this apartment for 8 days. Everything was perfect: size ( it's big, more than I expected), location ( subway very near, Empire State is just in front, bars and restaurants very near), Computer with internet ( perfect to organise your trip), beds are big and confortable, kitchen ( it's got everything you need to cook). I recommend this apartment if you want to have a perfect trip in NYC From Spain

A good located apartment

The apartment is very good located in the city. The subway is near and there are several restaurants and pharmacies in the environs. Then it is near to the Empire State Building, to Herald Square, to Penn Station and to the Madison Square Garden. We went in these places on foot and it was very comfortable! Viet and Liezl were very helpful and hospitable. The accommodation was well stocked, there were also dryer, bath soap and the iron too! The listing description regarding location is accurate and the listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The only negative thing was a little mouse that paid us a visit, but it is usual in New York on the ground floor!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

Viet and Liezl are amazing!

First of all, you will not find anyone more responsive and accommodating as Viet and Liezl. I did an extensive search for properties in NYC and their listings were all in perfect locations within the city, clean, and fully stocked. This apartment is right next to 2nd Ave Deli which is one of my favorite delis in the city and just blocks away from the Empire state building. As a visitor to the city, I am not sure why you would even want to stay in a hotel. Though, at the last minute, our plans changed, Viet and Liezl were incredibly understanding and flexible. Since I come to the city fairly often, I am excited I have a go to person for apartment accommodations. I'm sorry Viet and Liezl...you are stuck with me! I will be staying in one of your rentals soon.

A friend and I rented this apartment for a week and it was great, really near the subway and wonderful restaurants. It also helped to have the computer to be able to find things. Viet and Liezl were really accommodating. Thanks - and you have a great city!

Three friends of mine and I rented this apartment for a week last April and we really enjoed staying there. The apartment was big enough, well-furnished and comfortable for the four of us. We didn't have to buy soap, toilet paper or bring towels since everything was provided, which was really convenient. The apartment is well-located, close to the subway station, with a dinner and a deli (but don't buy wine there, it's not good at all) in the same street, and plenty of other restaurants in the street behind. The computer with wifi access wass of course a real plus. We definitely advise you to stay there. Viet and Liz constantly and immediately answered all our questions and made sure everything was fine.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. One of the best parts was staying in your apartment. It was a great location, and made it very easy to access my class, and the subway for touring. The neighborhood was the perfect combination for exploring (thank you for your recommendations, especially the grocery store) and quiet late at night. The apartment itself was very well stocked, and immaculately clean. It was especially nice to have a supply of common condiments, so as not to have to buy a lot of little things (a very welcoming touch). The only complaint was the heat which we were unable to regulate, even though we turned it completely off. (We also realize that you had no control over the heat). We would be willing to recommend your place to others, and would like to someday maybe stay there again. (I have a couple of 2 -3 day classes that I still have to take, if you are interested in a 2 night rental). Thank you again for sharing your space with us. Joe & Dianne

We were totally pleased with the apartment. The location, cleanliness, comfortable bed and pull-out sofa, kitchen utensils (which we didn't use since there were good restaurants and delis nearby). Oh yes, for New York it was a very quiet location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Murray Hill apartment. The queen sofa was very comfortable to sleep on. Having a computer with internet facilities was fantastic and made our stay so much easier. The location of the apartment is central and very convenient easily accessible to public transport and many tourist places. Viet was very obliging and made a real effort to make our stay comfortable.
