We welcome you to our charming and sunny Sierra cabin nestled in the pines. The cabin is located in a peaceful setting in the heart of Tahoe Donner and backs to Tahoe National Forest. It is only minutes away from downtown Truckee, ski resorts, lakes, casinos, restaurants and shopping.
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps up to 7 comfortably and is child proof, completely furnished and has a 2-car garage. It is ready for a weekend or week long retreat in the mountains. The cabin has an airlock entry and includes beautiful hardwood floors and ceilings, open kitchen and living room plan, breakfast bar, rock fireplace, and south-facing deck.
The master bedroom is located upstairs with a queen bed and walk-in closet. The downstairs bedrooms include a twin bunk in one, with a TV/DVD/VCR-great for the kids. The other bedroom has a full/twin bunk and an adjoining bathroom. All bedrooms have beautiful forest views. Cabin Amenities: Includes fully furnished kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator w/ ice maker) toaster, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Cable TV, Wireless and High Speed Internet, Video/DVD Player (upstairs and downstairs), central vacuum, central heat, firewood.

Our family of 6 found this home both very homey and cozy. Other have mentioned the warm colors; it was also well stocked with the essentials that make a house a home -- kindling, butter, oil, spices, extra blankets, games, etc. The home also backed to greenbelt which we and our dog much appreciated. The owner was very helpful both before and during our stay. There may have been cheaper places to stay in Tahoe Donner, but we were lucky to receive excellent value staying at this charming home on Hansel Ave. And our children will have memories of a White Christmas.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children.

My family and I stayed here in the winter and had a lovely time. The description of the home is very accurate - it's warm and inviting, clean, and well stocked with all the amenities one needs. The owners are so helpful and considerate, provided quick and thorough communication, and followed up to see how we enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located to stores, a clubhouse, and sledding areas. One small food store is even walking distance. Downtown Truckee is a short and easy drive away. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone - we're going back very soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We've rented a lot of houses in the Tahoe area and this is by far our favorite. The second I enter this house, I feel like a load has been taken off my chest. I love the warm colors inside, the hardwood floors in the living area, the wood burning fireplace that keeps us cozy in the winter, the well-equipped kitchen (if you feel like baking... you have your opportunity.) Everything reflects the very good taste of owners who maintain the property in an excellent condition. What I like about the location of the house is that it's quiet but close to everything you can imagine (skiing, biking, swimming, hiking etc.) We stayed here during both summer and winter and loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved staying in your home. It is very comfortable, well maintained and has all the amenities we needed . I really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen since I love to cook. This home is in a perfect area, peaceful setting yet close to activities swimming, fishing, boating, bike trails on the Truckee River. In addition it is in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The lodge, which is about 1/4 mile away has great food and also music in the grotto. We couldn't be more pleased with our selection and can't wait for our next stay at your Tahoe Donner home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We have stayed at this rental numerous times as a family and always enjoyed it and all it's amenities! Location to ski resorts, Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, a beautiful Rec center w/ great pools, hiking, biking... It is incredibly cozy, well maintained and has everything you would need for a relaxing mountain get-away! We will continue to go back and create lovely memories.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
