WELCOME TO CEDAR ROCK CHALET
Getaway and enjoy yourself at this Green Mountain Vermont Chalet located in Stockbridge, VT near Killington Ski Resort. The views are breath taking at our secluded home. Cedar Rock has a large stone fireplace to enjoy with friends and family. We just put in a brand new outdoor hot tub which is great after a day of skiing or hiking. Our home is at the end of the road in the mountain, located in the Timber Hawk at River Bend Community. Fully equipped with 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Wi-Fi, 42” TV in Living room AND 20” TV in Master bedroom both with Satellite TV, DVD, VCR. Movies, Games and books to keep you entertained.
The recreational opportunities abound in our area! Enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, sleigh riding, ice skating, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing OR you can relax by the roaring fireplace with a book and a glass of wine. Take a ride and enjoy the beauty of the Vermont country side, drive past farms and rivers on your way down to the General Store for coffee and snacks. In the summer the river is the best place to be, we have private river frontage just at the bottom of our road with hiking trails and tennis courts. Try fishing, swimming or you might like to visit the Stockbridge Yacht Club and be brought up river and dropped off to float down on a tube with your family and friends, a great way to cool off. Make sure to look through our guidebook for many more things to do and see.

13 Miles from Killington access road.
Where the White River and the Tweed River meet.
LIVING ROOM - Relax by the fireplace and warm yourself. Large brand new sectional couch is comfortable to spend some time watching the fireplace or gazing out the sliding glass doors at the mountain views.
KITCHEN - Enjoy cooking in our cozy but efficient kitchen. Your food will taste even better while looking out at the mountains.
BATHROOM - It’s great to have a bathroom on the same level where the main entertaining is going on.
BACK DECK - Our deck has beautiful views year round. Eating and sun bathing are the normal activities, for something different, turn out the light and star gaze. You’ll be amazed at all the stars. Cooking on the gas grill is convenient any time of the year.
Note* Please do not sit on the railings, and watch your children, it’s a long way down!!!
LAUNDRY- Brand new extra large capacity washer & dryer are there for your convenience.
OUTDOOR HOT TUB - New hot tub is a great place to relax after a day of skiing or hiking.
DOWN STAIRS - All bedrooms are downstairs away from the kitchen and living area.
MASTER BEDROOM - Nothing is better then a King Size bed! Step outside on the lanai for some fresh air or keep the curtains open for a little star gazing at night and wake up to the view with the sun or snow. This bedroom is a godsend for kids, pop in a DVD and enjoy a quiet dinner upstairs. This is the big reason I put a 20 inch TV in the room.
BUNK ROOM - Our cozy bunk room is great for kids. However we don’t recommend the top bunk for kids under 6 years of age. We do find it handy to leave the “safety rails” up for adults too!
TWIN ROOM - Two twin beds and a view of the woods is beautiful year around, with the occasional deer passing by.
BATHROOM - Full bath with plenty of towels.

My husband and I booked this vacation rental for our 4th Wedding Anniversary. We currently live in the Rochester NY area, but I am from Rutland VT and the area is and always will be a favorite of mine. The chalet was wonderful. Very clean and welcoming. We especially LOVED the plentiful supply of towels. If I owned a vacation home in the Killington VT area, this would easily fit the bill. Our 12 year old daughter came with us as well as our Miniature Schnauzer. My daughter is VERY allergic to pollens, mold and animal fur (hence the hypo-allergenic dog breed). Many times, we have had our vacations interrupted due to poor cleanliness of accomodations. So much so, we tend to stay only in hotels that are above average in name and reputation. We took a chance with this rental, and we were not disappointed. She had no issues whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend this charming chalet. You will be ever so happy you did.

Spectacular Summer in Vermont

We had a wonderful experience at Cedar Rock Chalet and I would recommend it to anyone. We went in the summer so we played tennis every day at the nearby courts, took hikes in the mountains, and had a generally relaxing vacation. The house is lovely and surrounded by trees, and the view from the back patio is spectacular. The owners are very attentive and are ready to help with anything they can. The house was clean and ready for us and it felt like a home right away. We brought our dog and he loved it! Bring movies with you if you plan to watch something as there aren't very many channels on the TV. Also, be aware that most restaurants close at 9:00 pm, and other businesses close between 7 and 8. We cooked almost every day instead of going out, often using the grill on the deck. If you're looking to get away, this is the place!

We were 8 guys and each of us has some good reasons to remember this place. The chalet was awesome and a perfect home away from home. We went to Killington for Mountain biking/horse riding & other adventure sports. We also drove to MA for river rafting. All in all, a wonderful place to hang out.
