This little house in the mountains is wonderful! beautiful views and so cozy inside! Plenty of room for the family and the fireplace was the main event. Loved that there were some toys there for the kiddos to play with! My husband and i loved it so much we will def be back there and are interested in buying a home just like it there in Vt in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I booked this vacation rental for our 4th Wedding Anniversary. We currently live in the Rochester NY area, but I am from Rutland VT and the area is and always will be a favorite of mine. The chalet was wonderful. Very clean and welcoming. We especially LOVED the plentiful supply of towels. If I owned a vacation home in the Killington VT area, this would easily fit the bill. Our 12 year old daughter came with us as well as our Miniature Schnauzer. My daughter is VERY allergic to pollens, mold and animal fur (hence the hypo-allergenic dog breed). Many times, we have had our vacations interrupted due to poor cleanliness of accomodations. So much so, we tend to stay only in hotels that are above average in name and reputation. We took a chance with this rental, and we were not disappointed. She had no issues whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend this charming chalet. You will be ever so happy you did.

We had a wonderful experience at Cedar Rock Chalet and I would recommend it to anyone. We went in the summer so we played tennis every day at the nearby courts, took hikes in the mountains, and had a generally relaxing vacation. The house is lovely and surrounded by trees, and the view from the back patio is spectacular. The owners are very attentive and are ready to help with anything they can. The house was clean and ready for us and it felt like a home right away. We brought our dog and he loved it! Bring movies with you if you plan to watch something as there aren't very many channels on the TV. Also, be aware that most restaurants close at 9:00 pm, and other businesses close between 7 and 8. We cooked almost every day instead of going out, often using the grill on the deck. If you're looking to get away, this is the place!

We were 8 guys and each of us has some good reasons to remember this place. The chalet was awesome and a perfect home away from home. We went to Killington for Mountain biking/horse riding & other adventure sports. We also drove to MA for river rafting. All in all, a wonderful place to hang out.

My husband and I spent the weekend at this cottage this last fall. The views are spectacular, it is a great "Vermont" experience. You wake up in the morning to watch the fog rise with the sun, and you snuggle in at night to the warm, romantic fireplace. We will definitely be back!

Had a blast with our grandkids, snuggling with in front of the fireplace, playing board games. We went out to Swiss Farm for the worlds greatest breakfast which was the greatest! Then we drove to Quechee for shopping and the train ride for the kids, I loved the wine tasting there too. We spent sometime in Woodstock for the antique auto show and more shopping in town. Fred and Kim was great giving us ideas of what to do there and we look foward to comming back for ski season. Thanks
