Come and enjoy the beautiful 86' feet of Big Bass Lake waterfront located in the heart of the famous, Manistee National Forest. There's over 300+ acres of crystal clear, sandy bottom water and thousands of acres of public lands to enjoy. You can take in the year round sights and activities or sit back and relax on the large screen porch and listen to the loons or watch the deer stroll by.

There's great fishing in the lake or head on down to the Big and Little Manistee rivers for some world famous Trout/Salmon fishing in the Spring and Fall.

For you Hunters there's plentiful deer, wild turkey and assorted small game.

All kinds of water fun right down at the lake with a private dock for your boat and a canoe to see the lake's sites.

The house is located in Michigan's famous "SNOW BELT" where annual snowfalls can top over 96" inches. The area supports many restaurant and drinking establishments easily accessible by snowmobile, cross country skiing, Biking or Hiking.

  • We enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend at this property. We loved paddling around the lake in the provided canoe. The woodburning stove was a cozy treat after a cool afternoon hike. The house itself was spacious and very well-equipped. We would recommend this house to others.

  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful "home" on Big Bass Lake. We just returned from a wonderful weekend and the cottage is a truly gorgeous retreat in the woods. A friend from neighboring Loon Lake put his pontoon boat in at the boat launch for us to use and our son brought his boat and the dock held fast. And although the fish were on the small side we caught several. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and all the privacy. A beautiful place!! Thanks again and hopefully you'll allow us to come again next year.

  • This cottage had everything anyone need except your own personal things. The lake in front needs to have the weeds taken care & a new dock but otherwise it was a very nice vacation.

  • My girlfiends and I take a yearly trip to a lake. This was a great house and we loved the lake, but the dock was kind of scary. It is need of repair. Other then that it was a wonderful place to rent

  • We loved this house on Big Bass Lake. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived, and had all the amenities of home. We loved sitting on the screen porch and enjoying the outdoors with no bugs. It was nice that the house is surrounded by so many trees, and while the house is on the lake, it's not visible from the lake (i.e., lots of privacy). We went fishing and used the canoe a LOT. The lake was really warm, especially for June. In general, the house was amazing, and we're planning on going again next year!
