Why the Owner Chose Alpenglow

If you have ever been to the Northern Rockies then you know why Big Sky is so special. If it is winter, you enjoy the Biggest Skiing, nothing compares to the 5,500+ acres of terrain available. If it is summer, 15 hours of sunlight, mild temperatures, great fishing rivers, and majestic mountains. What more could anyone ask for in a vacation spot. In addition to Big Sky, you can take a day trip to Yellowstone National Park, hike one of the trails, or lie by the pool, the activities are endless. Wonderful family vacation

Guest: OSU8993 (Medina, Ohio)
Date of Stay: 07/22/11 Review Submitted: 08/10/11

We stayed at this property at the end of July 2011. It was primariy used for our family of 5, which includes 3 boys ages 9, 12, 14, to visit Montana and explore Yellowstone and the Tetons. This was a perfect family vacation. The little extra drive to get to Yellowstone (45 minutes) was completely worth staying in Big Sky. The townhome surpassed all of our expectations. Pictures posted on this site were absolutely accurate and not misleading at all. The place was immaculate, comfy beds, beautifully decorated, and spacious. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Property management did a great job with the maid service and a few questions that came up during our stay. We enjoyed rafting, ziplining, and horseback riding here in Big Sky, which was a nice relief from driving in the parks. The shops, small grocery stores, and restaurants that are available in the resort (two separate sections) were more than adequate. Grocery stores even had some gluten free items. The views were beautiful. Staff and local people were so friendly and made the stay even better. If you are looking for the park experience but with amenities, this is the place for you. The swimming pool was kept at a nice, warm temperature, and the kids enjoyed that. There is kayaking, fishing, and paddle boat available at Lake Levinsky. The drive to Bozeman was not bad either. Definitely look for wildlife as you drive towards Yellowstone. If you are going to the Tetons, consider the Mesa Falls Byway which gets you into Idaho and starts you in Jackson Hole. Long day but worth the views! Be careful of the rock at the corner of the driveway (little accident with the rental car). Highly recommend this place!

Owner response:My husband and i are so happy to hear that our home not only met, but exceeded your expectations! Thank you so much for the kind words and we hope you will visit us again!

Perfect

Date of Stay: 01/24/11 Review Submitted: 02/01/11

Stayed here for a week in January 2011. Great Condo, as described in posting. Bedrooms are large. Fold out couch is adequate for a few nights or for kids. Bedrooms are downstairs, Den is upstairs, as is living room, allows for people to spread out as needed. Very clean and well appointed condo. Kitchen was well equipped for pretty much any basic cooking you would do (including crockpot, broiler pan, stockpot and fry pans). Housekeeping every-other day was more than adequate for us. Shuttle stop is just a block away from doorstep, garage easily fits a large SUV. Hottub in back is a little small, but good for 2-3 people for a soak. Condo includes access to Huntley Lodge pool and hottub, exercise area so that is a bonus. Would definitely consider renting this again !

Owner response:We are so glad you enjoyed our condo/townhouse. We love Big Sky, the snow, and all that is available in the Mountain Village! Thank you for the lovely review....
