Two short blocks to bus service (free in winter) to Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Highlands ski areas. Two master bedrooms. Convenient to everything in Aspen. Great location for year round activities.
Summer is beautiful with a multitude of activities, including the Food and Wine Festival, Aspen Music Festival, Theatre in the Park, Ballet, Opera, Aspen Ideas Festival, and all the outdoor activities imaginable in a spectacular mountain setting. Autumn has the mountains exploding with fall colors. This is the time of year to see and photograph Maroon Bells and many surrounding areas. There's usually an Indian Summer that brings some of the nicest days of the year. This is a quieter more romantic time of year in Aspen.

Owner Description
Photo of Grandpa Ed, Lise, and Grandkids (my children Brianna, Daniel, and Evan). We are a very close family who have skied together since 1965. At lease those of us who were born! Grandpa Ed started it all with our first family trip to Aspen in 1965, and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then we've skied all over the Western U.S. together. I was an adult before I realized that not everyone's family vacations are centered around sporting activities! We're very happy to share this condo with others since it has given us so much enjoyment over the years.
Why the Owner Chose Aspen
My family purchased this condo for personal use over 15 years ago. We've only been renting it out for one year since some of us now live in the Aspen area, and we don't use it as much. This location is amazing because it's in the core of Aspen yet not in the center of the business area. You get the proximity to everything Aspen offers while still being able to get away from the activity of the center of town. The accessible sidewalk entrance is a big plus for winter skiers as well as children and anyone else that doesn't want to climb stairs.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
This condo has been an important component of our entire extended family. The children in our family have spent many winters and summers with this condo as their familiar vacation base. The benefits of the independence they've developed from spending time in a safe small town continue to set them apart from their peers. Additionally, being so close to restaurants, Apre Ski locals, and shopping we tend to go out more, even after a tiring day of skiing.
