  Our family of 4 enjoyed this condo from November 16-30, 2012. The condo looks even better in person than on the site. Our 2 daughters (age 13 & 14) enjoyed their bedroom with 2 beds and a bathroom all to themselves. We enjoyed the large master suite and very large bathroom with tub and seperate shower. Shopped at the nearby Waimea supermarket and stocked the pantry and fridge with evrything needed for breakfasts. While we ventured out around the entire island and enjoyed everything from a mountain top trip to Mauna Kea as well as a visit to the volcano national park, our favorite thing to do was to go to Mauna Kea beach and enjoy snorkelling and swimming. It is such a nice beach and a bonus that we got to use chairs and towels provided by the Mauna Kea resort. We would suggest using the resort valet parking as it was always a quick in/out without having to worry about a parking spot. Lots of great eating spots in the nearby resort areas as well as some great shopping in Hilo and Kona. The condo was always a nice peaceful spot to come back to in the evenings. Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks.

  We came to Hawaii for one month, for the 1st time, for our 40th anniversary and stayed on all islands (Big Island, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu). This condo was by far the nicest!! We loved it. We loved the location and the condition of this unit. Very clean and well equiped. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the covered lanai watching the golfers and goats!

  This condo was ideal for my family of four. We stayed for 9 days in August, 2011 and were delighted to be able to enjoy the Mauna Kea Beach Resort without having to stay in the hotel. The condo was quiet, spacious, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped (they even had a rice maker). The Mauna Kea beach (my personal favorite on the Big Island) was only a 3 minute drive, where there was free valet parking. In addition to the amenities listed in the description, we were pleased to find board games, videos and beach toys for the kids. My experience staying at this condo was even better than my many previous experiences staying at the actual hotel. It was so nice to be able to prepare our own meals and dine on the patio, watching the sun set over the ocean. It is only 30 minutes from the airport and there are great grocery stores nearby at the Mauna Lani Resort and in Waimea. The property managers were professional, courteous and returned my security deposit promptly. For the price, this condo exceeded my expectations.

  Ideal location within Mauna Kea. Overlooks 4th hole of Hapuna golf course. Fantastic views of sunset every evening. Perfectly suited for family of four; six might be snug, but possible with sofa bed in living room. Most units have their own BBQ, but F-2 is very close to community pool area, which has a gourmet gas BBQ. We used it a lot and it's nicer than what most, if not all, of the other units have and it works really well. If you want to use the hotel pool, gym and other amenities, you need to purchase the resident pass. So close to golf course it's hard to resist walking out onto the green.

  Stayed here with family of four and loved every minute. The Condo is clean, well equipped (beach towels, chairs boogie-boards), and well furnished and decorated. It has great views of water and Maui (on a clear day). The sunsets were amazing and there was always a nice breeze. The pool/hot tub/ grilling area was really nice and close to the unit. The condo is 2 minutes from the best beaches on the island. You can valet at Hapuna Prince and Mauna Kea. There area also some lesser-known "secret beaches" in the area. It is difficult to find any faults. Having a grill at the unit (the pool grill is close) would be the only improvement that we could think of. We have relatives on the island and they confirmed that we got a tremendous deal and that it is one of the most desirable locations on the island. We walked through the resorts and we are so glad that we decided to rent this condo instead. It is cheaper, more private and much more spacious.

  We had a fantastic stay here last August with our 2 year old daughter and would definitely return. The condo is large, clean and well furnished - the pictures in the description do it justice. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and we would often have breakfast and dinner out on the lanai with the ocean view and sunsets in the evenings. There were lots of beach toys, coolers, etc to choose from. Best of all we were less than 5 minutes away from both Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Resorts with valet privileges at both. Mauna Kea was fantastic for snorkeling and playing in the sand, and Hapuna had a wonderful swimming pool which our toddler adored. It was fantastic to have such easy access to these facilities with the convenience and ease of a condo. The owner was also extremely helpful. We had an issue with the television, and they came out the same afternoon to fix it. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.
