A unique mountaintop retreat near the famous town of Barranquitas and its eternal spring. This cabin overlooks the grand canyon of Puerto Rico with its beautiful waterfalls. Surrounded by the gentle countryside of the island. Very agreeable temperatures (60s, 70s, & low 80s all-year-arround.
Can be reached via a narrow, well paved, not busy rural road from which you can ocassionally see houses occupied by the local residents, (very friendly and helpful people.)
Theese are horse-loving people. From the house, you will see horses being trained at a distance, in one of the valleys below.
The house has wide doors which allows the cool breeze as long as you may want it. It has an upstairs deck from which to see a wonderful 300 degrees mountain view. A down stairs deck
has recently been added.
It sleeps from 4 to 6 people. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, 2 convertible beds on the loft and 2 sofas that could be used for sleeping (they have been positively tested for that purpose.) For more information please visit our link that is listed. We look forward to having you!

Just Perfect!, sums up our experience with this very special property. If you are looking for something different with an emphasis on peace, relaxation and the beauty that nature offers then this property will not disappoint. If you want to experience the real Puerto Rico we highly recommend this property as it truly was a country "getaway" that is tastefully appointed with breathtaking views from large swing open double doors and windows. From the moment we arrived Reinaldo (caretaker) made sure we were comfortable and that everything was just right. The accommodations were clean, well kept with all the accoutrements including satellite TV. Great country kitchen sufficiently supplied with cook and eating ware and grocery shopping close by. The architecture of the house lends itself to spacious open living including bedrooms. I have no doubt that we will come back again. Thank you to Jose Antonio the owner and of course Rienaldo for your kindness and professionalism. This was a wonderful experience.
