The large gourmet kitchen is designed to be the center of your gathering. The 63" big screen HDTV allows cooks and all to enjoy a game or favorite show. The sunroom has an incredible therapeutic quality no matter the weather outside. Commune with nature from the comfort of our curved sofa and the cozy warmth of our gas fireplace. High speed internet keeps you in touch. The 72" round dinner table that offers everyone a wonderful view of the river comfortably sits 8 people for truly enjoyable dining experience.
The deck that flows the entire length of the house offers shade or sun no matter what time of day. If fishing is your desire, the McKenzie is the place for you. During the summer and fall you can wade out to the middle of the river and fly fish to your hearts desire. Alas finish your day in the 8 person hot tub.

2010 STANDARD RATES - 3 Night Minimum Stay
$475/night weekdays and $575/night weekends - $3,250/week
$150 Cleaning fee for all stays plus 1% state tax
$25/night pet fee to a maximum of $100 per stay (house trained pets only please)

Why the Owner Chose McKenzie River
We are pleased to share the McKenzie River Dream with you. We recompletely remodeled this property in 2007 to be the home we retire in. So we spared no expense. Granite countertops throughout, custom showers, state of the art home theater system, HD TV's, throughout the house, 8 person hot tub, copper clefted slate and the jewel of the house, our gourmet kitchen.
Well, we discovered we are not ready to retire, so moved closer to the action in a small condo in Eugene. Of course we did not what to sell this property, so we decided the best of all solutions would be to allow others to share in its comfort and beauty.
The Unique Benefits at this House
A bonus we discovered after living here is that Leaburg is in a sunbelt. Very often if it is cloudy or foggy in Eugene it is sunny in Leaburg. Another bonus is that even if it is rainy and stormy, it is so relaxing watching the rain on the river. We have such phenominal views from the sunroom, dining room and master bedroom.
Walterville has a small grocery store, feed store, restaurant and fishing supplies. Fishing licenses are available at the feed store.

My name is Marilyn Augusta. I am an interior designer and owner of the Augusta House Bed and Breakfast in Eugene. My partner Sharon Hadley is a CPA and CFO. We have three adult children Colin 28, the Resident Manager at the bed and breakfast, Caitlin 24, Manager of an American Apperal store in Portland and Celeste an industrial design major at the Art Institute in Portland.
We enjoy University of Oregon athletics, golf and remodeling houses.
