I can't say enough of the wonderful hospitality that we received on our stay. We stayed for 8 days in December. It was an easy walk to the beach even on my crutches. Great italien restaurant a block away. The bed was very comfortable and it was a perfect place for a couple to stay.It was nice to have a private place to sit outside after our days of exploring and swimming. We rented a car from Entreprise. If you book online it is very affordable. It has many shops and grocery stores a few blocks away. Christine went way beyond her duties to help us. I definitively recommend this place. Thank you so much Christine for everything you did for us .

Great place to stay in Puerto Rico - beaches, veranda, hammock, restaurants

This is a fantastic place to stay in Puerto Rico. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with the veranda and hammock and practically lived outside which we were there. The unit is small, but very clean and the tilework is even more beautiful than I imagined. You have everything you need (including internet and cable tv) to make your stay comfortable. Christiana picked us up from the airport and let us know where to go in the neighborhood. She and her family (Sean & Virginia) are the ultimate hosts. Nearby, there is a fantastic beach just down Taft Street and great restaurants within walking distance. Da Liugi is a gem - Italian place just around the corner - really good food. And Kamoli Cafe is amazing. We ate 2 meals there. Great coffee, fun and funky ambience and the best soup I think I ever had - pumpkin ginger! The Super Max grocery store has everything you need! Taking the bus to San Juan is probably best - it's so hard to find parking there, but it's an incredible city! We did the El Morro and San Cristobal forts in addition to El Yungque, the rainforest. We rented a car very inexpensively through Charlie's Car Rental. It's very easy to get around in a car in Puerto Rico. Also recommend kayaking the bio day and taking the ferry to Culebra to Flamenco Beach. Gorgeous. Can't wait to go back. We saw the family's units in old San Juan and the views from those porches are incredible. That would also be a great place to stay - more central. You won't miss if you rent with Christiana and her family.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful the kitchen was fully functional and the staff was exceptional. i honestly felt like we were home we stayed for 12 days. the transportation was cheap and whenever we needed a ride christian was glad to accommodate us. She and her husband truly understand the importance of customer service. the rooms were clean and extra towels were provided. The beach is less then a 5 minute walk and the supermarket is a bus ride away. always remember to carry change on you thats key when traveling on bus T5, but if your short on money the bus drivers allow you to get on. You need to try the restaurants around the apartment their tasty and economical. if your a type of person that enjoys traveling throughout the island you must rent a car. enterprise is the cheapest. everyone is polite in puerto rico and we never felt we were in danger at anytime. If dancing is your thing you must go to latin roots. This place is awesome and i will definitely stay here again, the price is reasonable and the service is great, give it a shot you will be glad you did.

I stayed at two different apartments in this house (there are two upstairs and two downstairs; have locked gates which make you feel very safe) and they were both gorgeous! very clean and charming. Christiane is WONDERFUL! she was the perfect landlord. she picked me up from the airport, gave me a little tour of Condado/Ocean Park, and she was always there if i had any questions. i highly recommend staying here! great place for a small family, a couple, or a small girls get away. It is right in the middle of everything (supermarket about 5 blocks, great restaurants less then 3 blocks, beach about 3 blocks). I also took a bus ride to Old San Juan (very easy to get there and only cost about $1.50). Cannot wait to go back and stay in this lovely place.

My husband and I just returned from our 5 day stay at Posada Colonial. Christiane picked us up at the airport and showed us the local hot spots (bus stop, beach access, 24 hr grocery store, restaurants) on the way to the apartment. We stayed in the front upstairs apartment and was not disappointed. The apt. was perfect for 2 people. The neighborhood was quaint and charming. We never felt unsafe. My husband and I got out and walked the neighbor and walked all the way to the Marriott in Condado. The restaurants in the neighborhood were excellent esp, Luigi's. The BEST PIZZA EVER!!! Bebo's was also very good. We liked the fact that we were able to walk to the grocery store and buy items for breakfast. Christiane's recommendation of taking the local bus (T5) to Old San Juan was spot on. Trying to find a parking place is a nightmare and driving is CRAZY! Take the bus...it's $.75 each way and soo worth it.

We stayed in the one bedroom upstairs apartment. The unit was very cozy with beautiful authentic interiors. Everything you need to spend a wonderful vacation is within a walking distance!!! We stayed there for 6 nights and it was just perfect. Living in this apartment you will have something of living at your friends' house experience. Virginia and Christiane are charming hosts who will advise on local transport, facilities, typical restaurants, beaches and places to see. If we will return in Puerto Rico we already know where to stay…

We arrived and Christiane was right there at the airport ready to pick us up. She is so sweet and has so much information the whole ride to the apt. When we opened the door it was exactly what you see on the pictures. So bright and cheery and comfortable. Just what we wanted, the real taste of Puerto Rico in a neighborhood. Close to everything you need! It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy what San Juan has to offer. Christiane was so helpful in anything that we needed. We had our dates wrong for our stay and she was so gracious to help us find something else and even took us there. We cannot say enough about what you get for the very reasonable price. It was the most special, quaint apartment we loved it. Thank you again Chriastiane and Sean ( her fabulous, talented carpentar husband) We will tell everyone about you !!!! Great Beach close, Bebo's close, bus close, great little coffee shop close (ask Christiane) Old San Juan close...wonderful !

Christiane and Sean were extremely friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the airport when we arrived, and gave us a ride back there at the end of our 5 day stay. The apartment was beautiful, and the weather was warm and perfect. (even in December!) We felt very secure behind two locked gates, and happy that our stay was a short walk from the beach, several restauraunts, and the hotel where our daily tours were set up. We had a great, time, and would certainly stay here again. 5 stars! -Michael and Sarah

"I have to say that I was so overwhelmed with the wonderful care I received from Victoria while I was in PR. Starting with coming out to the rental car location so that I could follow her to the apt. Then taking me on a tour of the neighborhood and beyond so that I could familiarize myself with the area and show me great places to eat. Great information and conversation! I stayed in the downstairs 1bdrm first night then moved upstairs. Which gave me an opportunity to see more of the wonderful tilework! These apts are simply beautiful and very clean. Victoria checked in with me to make sure I was having a great time. The neighborhood is very homey and close to just about anything you would want to do. Even while I was there, I showed the apts to people I met and they even said that they would love to stay there. I am recommending their apts to anyone that wants that neighborhood feel rather than the "tourist" feel. "
