This beautiful home was the perfect place for our family vacation. It provided comfortable beds for all guests, great bathroom facilities, and a kitchen table that was used mostly for fun game-playing. This house was extremely clean and the fenced in yard was wonderful for our 3 year old to play in. The complete kitchen made meal prep easy and helped keep costs down by not eating out at every meal. I would recommend this property to my family and friends and would also stay again myself on my next visit to Idaho. This property was easy to find and provided a great resting place when not out sight-seeing. Some activities we enjoyed...shopping in downtown Sandpoint, boating on Lake Pend O'Reille and picnicing at the adjacent city beach and park, hiking to Kootenai Falls in Troy, Montana, Triple Play in Hayden, Idaho, chair lift at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. We loved a pizza dinner at Second Avenue Pizza in Sandpoint; the best pizza we've had in a long time. We had a nice Sunday dinner at Slates Bar and Grill in Ponderay; great atmosphere and delicious meals for all palates. We had a great 8 days in Idaho and created lots of wonderful memories. So glad we found this house to make our lodging comfortable and relaxing.

We just returned from a five day stay at this wonderful property. It was in a perfect location between the town of Sandpoint and Mt. Schwietzer. The chalet was warm and cozy, filled with lovely rustic furnishings. Our family enjoyed skiing, snow boarding, snow shoeing and tubing. Thanks again Bill for your hospitality!

I happened to find this house on the internet. I am so glad my wife and I stayed there. We arrived to this beautiful home with a large fenced front yard. It's perfect for families with kids. You can let the little ones play and and still see them while cooking meals. We walked in and could not get over how beautifully decorated every room was. The kitchen is very well equipped. We loved having a bbq to cook our salmon on. The hot tub felt incredible! It was our first trip to Sandpoint and we both LOVED the quaint town, the people, the beautiful scenery and most of all...the fresh air. Every time I stepped outside I said to my wife "It smells like an air freshener out here". This is the place to stay. Thank you Bill for everything!! We plan to come back next spring. When we know the date, we will definitely book your house again. LOVED IT! Thanks, Brian and Diane from Bakersfield, CA.

Thank you for sharing your fabulous home with us. We had a great weekend and your home was so warm and welcoming to return to every night after a great day of skiing at Schweitzer. We cooked in every night and enjoyed the big dining table and adjoining living room. The highlight of the evenings was the foosball table. Having never been to that area, we really liked it and look forward to coming back in the future. The proximity of the home to both Sandpoint and Schweitzer was perfect!

Our family of five spent the Christmas holiday at this cozy chalet and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful in preparing for our first visit to the cabin. Upon arrival, we found the property to be very clean and well cared for by the owner. It is warm, comfortable and every room has been thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen is spacious and includes everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. The interior is well-insulated and has a cozy franklin fireplace (gas) that is easy to operate. The Schweitzer ski resort is just up the road and the town of Sandpoint a few minutes away. The cabin is situated in a peaceful neighborhood on a large lot surrounded by pines. After a long day of skiing, we all appreciated a long soak in the hot tub on the deck under the stars. We also found the warm garage handy for storing our car out of the weather. I would highly recommend this chalet as a great place for a family to stay while visiting Schweitzer Mountain or the Sandpoint area.

This was a terrific place for us to stay. So much more than just a hotel room. I love the decor, I never knew there were so many things with moose on them to decorate with. Wasn't too sure about the heads on the wall but it makes it very authentic looking. The kitchen has everything to make great meals,(love the kitchen table) especially when we were trying to feed little ones (who eat all the time) and the beds were absolutely great, so warm and cozy. A yard for the kids and great location for a morning walk. My family would have liked to stay for a much longer time. Our little 4 year old thought we were on a great adventure and that this was our new home. She did not want to leave. We saw 3 wild turkeys wandering past the house. Got some nice photos, my husband thought turkey dinner would be really good but they were rather big to wrestle to the roasting pan. I thought they looked much better alive. We spent time at Silverwood and that was great, rides are big and the roller coasters are amazingly fast, I had to keep my eyes closed on one though and in the photo on the other I was seen screaming, which I did the whole way through. The little one was in her glory going on her rides but she wasn't sure what was happening during the train robbery. A little cold at the water park but a good time anyway. Reading by the fireplace was a very nice touch and the men loved the hot tub with their wine. Everything was clean and quiet, a nice change from daily life. A little hard to find in the dark but it was fun trying. After that, such an easy place to get to and from when shopping or just sightseeing. This would be a great place to stay while skiing, we may just try that out. The owner, Bill was a great help and super friendly to chat with. He had everything covered if there was any problems which we had none of. I would absolutely recommend this property to my friends and family. Relaxing, peaceful and friendly people all around. I want to say a big thankyou to Bill and his family for sharing their home with us. It was everything we were looking for and more. Fresh air, beautiful country and peace. Thanks again and if you venture a stay there, you won't be disappointed. Smiles

I stayed at the chalet with my husband and 3 other couples for a wedding this July. I am so glad that we opted to stay here rather than getting a hotel room. The Tucker's place is so comfortable & the location is great. You aren't right in the middle of town...but can get to town quickly. I will definitely want to take another trip to Sandpoint & know where I'll want to stay! Thanks again Bill & Lorinda!

What an absolutely lovely home, with a perfect location only a few miles away from the ski hill. The beds are beyond cozy, and the hot tub was a wonderful treat after a long day of skiing. This house is very well equipped in terms of linens, kitchen items, etc. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was extremely comfortable for all of us.
