Hi Joyce, I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you again for renting your wonderful condo to us. Just got home on Tuesday night, we had a wonderful time, the weather was great every day! It's so nice to stay in a condo that is so well appointed we weren't missing a thing. Our daughter loved that she got to choose which bed to sleep in! We just got home but already I'm longing to go back it's just so lovely there. We took your recommendation and went on a semi-submersible boat trip, we also went to the crater, the goat farm (our daughter loved the 4 day old goats), the lavendar gardens and the winery. It was a nice relaxing holiday...just what we wanted. Thanks again Marina

We LOVED your condo and hope to rent again from you in the future, if possible. Your condo met our expectations in every way...it was just perfect for us and our family of four. The fact that you have twin beds in the den was perfect for us and our twin sons who do much better when they don't have to fight over the sheets of one queen bed. The condo was very clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was well supplied with plates, cups, utensils and cookware. The only suggestion I can think of is to supply more plastic cups for use by children. There is no need to apologize about the garbage disposal, the repairman came when he said he was going to and everything was in order when we returned from the beach. Things have been very busy since our return from Hawaii, I meant to send you a proper thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. We had a magical time during our visit to Hawaii and a large part of it was due to how comfortable we were in our accommodations. We made good use of the beach umbrella and chairs which were available in the hall closet and we added two 37" boogie boards to the beach collection for use by your future renters. I did write a little about our stay in your guest book (such a nice idea). Now, I am in the "catch up" mode for everything which was put aside while we were gone! Thanks again and mahalo, Pamela

Hi Joyce, We wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your condo, we had a wonderful time. It was very comfortable as if we were at our own home. We really appreciated the extras you provided. The boogie board, beach mats, noodles, beach towels and the cooler were a big plus. Not to mention how peaceful and private the patio was. We loved every minute of our time and can't wait to go back. We bought to much food so we left some behind and told your housekeeper to take some and leave what he felt could benefit the next guests. We also bought some sponges and paper towels because there was only a little of one roll left. We donated a small pool raft and a new beach mat. We hope we added to your home in a good way. Hi Joyce, Yes, we found everything in good order when we arrived. Your instructions noted that there would be two keys on the inside door, however there was only one. My husband is not a coffee drinker but got a chuckle out of your notes on the coffee canister(unleaded/leaded). We were able to utilize the straw mats for the beach and it was nice to have spare beach towels. We especially liked that you have a security box...we kept all our inportant documents for travel there...gave me some piece of mind. Thanks again...I will make sure to keep your email address should I need to inquire about future dates. How often do you and your husband use the condo? We noticed that you have a lovely family...hopefully they come over to enjoy it as well. Susan

Dear Joyce and Ty, Just a note of thanks for the use of your Condo in Kihei. We had a wonderful time, of course, and the weather, water and accommodations were wonderful. One of the highlights was - Discovering the reef just off of Kameole III and to our delight one morning - a turtle and a 6-7 ft white spotted eel amongst the other island fish. We also loved the view from the top of the Haleakala, and eating fresh tropical fruits and nuts everyday - plus time to relax, relax, relax...... Joyce Thank you so much for the use of your condo. It was lovely and we had a very relaxing time. The unit was clean. We did end of seeing and swimming with the sea turtles out at Kanapali Beach. The kids are still so excited about that. My husband and son golfed quite a few times. We went to Lahaina every other day, and also made various day trips to Makawa and Paia. Dear Joyce: Thank you so much for your e-mail. I have been meaning to send you a note letting you know how much we enjoyed our time in your Maui home. The unit was clean and VERY comfortable. We think your furniture choices are so comfortable (I prefer your couch and coffee table to some of the glass and wicker ones in other condos) and the king size bed was an unexpected surprise. Our son loved his time in the pool, and we loved being able to hear the watrfall from the unit. We spent many happy hours there, and on the lanai, although we did venture to the beach with him. The weather was perfect everyday, and we weren't ready to lave when our time was up! My sister and brother in law were also in Maui with their children. When they arrived at our condo, they stated that our unit was much nicer than theirs, and we would have to agree. I think you are fortunate to have such a wonderful second home. Maui is the perfect place to travel with a child, and we hope to return. We will certainly be contacting you regarding your unit when we do, and have already passed your name on to some friends. We have made it back to California after a great vacation! The condo worked out very well for us, it's a lovely place to stay!! We were out exploring a lot so missed your calls but we were glad to have the condo as our home base, lots of space and so clean and well equipped. We enjoyed some fun rain during our first few days, a big difference from the rain that we returned to in LA. It's pouring here this a.m. and not at all warm like Maui. Then it cleared for a beautiful warm week, I was glad that most of our activities were booked for after the rain hit. We ran into two different families from our community while there -- such a small world. Thanks for all of your recommendations and for providing such a nice rental experience. We all enjoyed our first visit to the islands.

Aloha, Joyce: We returned from Hawaii late yesterday afternoon, after a long evening/day of travel. It was certainly depressing to leave such a beautiful place, as we loved both Maui and Kona. Joyce, My wife and I just returned home this afternoon after spending 30 wonderful days at you home in Kihei. We had a wonderful time and I wanted to drop you a note and thank you for renting your condo to us. This was the first time I have ever rented a vacation property unseen on the internet and needless to say I was apprehensive and a little nervous until I opened your front door. It was absolutely wonderful and you have it decorated so nice, too. It is far prettier than the pictures you have on your web site. Everything....the pool, the BBQ grill, the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. were so close and conveniently located, we couldn't ask for anything better. All the kitchen appliances and other amenities that you furnished made our stay just terrific. The beds were so firm and restful as well. We felt so much at home it was difficult to leave. A couple of notes of interest: There are two sets of swimming fins, but no other snorkel gear. Your e-mail to me prior to our departure alerted me that items were missing and we took our own gear, so that wasn't a problem. I had an extra child's size snorkel that I no longer needed so I left it for someone else to use. The grass and plants in the yard are doing beautifully, probably because of the exceptionally wet spring that they had. The have even lifted the water rationing restrictions! While they had rain and wind on the windward side of the island, the weather in Kihei was absolutely perfect while we were there. Thanks again for your part of a wonderful vacation. Dear Joyce, Just a quick note to let you know what a nice place you have in Kihei. We had a great trip, and really enjoyed our stay at your condo. The beaches there are fantastic, and we enjoyed the swimming and snorkeling. The Keawakapu Beach is especially nice. We got a great book on the Reef Fishes of Hawaii and enjoyed identifying all the various amazing species. A couple of days of rain were mixed in, but we didn't mind (the only bad part was it was too windy on our boat trip to go down past LaPerouse Bay to the more remote south coastline), but we still had a great boat trip and watched the whales breach, the dolphins play and the turtles swim. The kids enjoyed the pool (never did the Hana Road, but did go up to Iao Valley and Lahaina), my son and I played golf at the Elleair course which was very nice, and Bev and Jenny went to the play over at Lahaina which they really enjoyed. We were met back in Anchorage with 4" of snow yesterday and another 6 today. The kids were whining about wanting to be back in Hawaii, but I told them just pretend it's sand! It'll be melting soon. Well, thanks again, and hope we left the place in good shape. The boogie board was broken when we got there, but other than that we saw nothing else that was out of order. One thing that still puzzles me is the name of the birds that are kind of like a quail that are so raucous! We enjoyed all the birds, but they were quite amazing (as we were leaving, we saw a mother and about 8 fuzzy yellowish chicks out on the lawn). Quite a place! Joyce & Ty: I wanted to let you know that we absolutely loved our time in Maui while staying at your condo. It was so fabulous that both children had their own beds to sleep in, and your condo is absolutely beautiful. I hate to tell you this but your pictures don't do it justice - it was so much larger than I had anticipated. It was also very nice having all the cleaning supplies on hand - I'm a bit retentive about the sand etc, so I vacuumed quite a few times. The Styrofoam cooler broke while it was in our possession - so we replaced it with a new one. And I wanted to let you know that there was only 1 boogie board. We didn't use it - we had actually brought our own, but I wanted to let you know that there was only 1 board in your closet and not the 2 that was stated in your directions. We are anticipating going back to Maui next year, although there has been talk of going to the big island - so it's a little up in the air as of right now. But if we do make plans to go to Maui again next year we would love to stay in your beautiful unit again!! Thank you again so much, your condo was fantastic and the highlight of our stay!!

Hi Mrs. Tekawa: I did receive the refund yesterday and thank you for that.In spite of the 4 days of straight rain (with flooding all over the island),we had a wonderful time. Your condo did much more than meet ourexpectations. My mom, sister, Aunt and Uncle stayed there. I was pleased to see how elegant the condo is. Your home is absolutely lovely and we all agreed we could see ourselves spending our remaining days there. I love your little yard. It is such a beautiful setting to just sit and enjoy the flowers and sunshine. Your decor is also so very lovely. I stayed in unit H208 and found your unit to be much more comfortable. Another common comment from everyone in my family was that both units had the most amazing mattresses on the beds. Everyone said how comfortable the beds were. Everyone slept really well! I would recommend your condo to anyone looking for accommodations in Maui. The location is great, and it's so very relaxing. One of the things we liked best was having a yard where we could enjoy our dinners outside. We were so comfortable and it was so pleasant that we could have our daughter and her boyfriend over for dinner a couple of times. Dear Ty and Joyce, We want to thank you for the use of your wonderful condo. We had a great time; we can only say wonderful things about the condo and Maui! It provides all the comforts of home. We would like it for a month around the same time next year. Geo Hi, Have thoroughly enjoyed your most wonderful condominium during our stay here. Like many others from the Seattle area, yes my office is my laptop and cell phone... Your unit nicely accomodates business people. Usually I have to run down to Kihei for my faxes and floppies to print. This makes what I have to do more efficient so I can do other things we came here for. Also, we really like the cordless phone, which we realized in our last 20 visits to Maui, we have never had this convenience. The little touches like plenty of paper, ink cartridges, pens, calender, etc. all lend to helping me get things done faster with less hassle. My wife really likes CLEAN (young baby with us), so she is very pleased with how the unit is not only clean from top to bottom, but bug and dust free. Jon Just wanted to tell you we really enjoyed our visit to beautiful Maui and your wonderful condo. Everything we needed was there. Also, I wanted to confess to accidentally dropping one of your cereal bowls! Other than that little accident, I think you will find everything as you left it.
