Why the Owner Chose Hammondsport
It is near the best vineyards in the state, it is next to a retreat center (Thunder Mountain), beautiful Keuka Lake is a short ride, we are on the Finger Lakes trail for amazing hiking. The house itself is huge, modern and affords a lot of privacy. You sit on the landing and gaze out at the most unbelievable night sky.
The house is a contemporary A-Frame and the property is very quiet.
I myself spend a lot of time there during the Summer...this is my retreat cabin.
