Great home with super kitchen and location. Owners are helpful and friendly. The only downer for us was the lack of TV which meant we couldn't see the ball games. However 6 guys skiing throughly enjoyed the house.

We stayed here in July 2011. We had four adults and two kids and it worked out great. The house was beautiful and the kids loved the treehouse in the backyard. The owners were in town while we were there and we enjoyed chatting with them a few times. All in all, this was a great stay!

This home is even nicer than the pictures. It has modern amenities in a beautifuly restored/maintained vintage home. The owners had the home prepared completely with information provided to make the stay easy and enjoyable, and were ready should there have been any problems. The front porch proved to be the location of choice for us for talking and cooking dinner on the provided barbecue. The home is spacious and could easily accomodate the number of people they say it sleeps. We intend to use this rental again should the opportunity present itself, and highly recommend it.

We came from Sunny Florida to Chilly Utah for one week; however, this house was far from chilly. It was Welcoming, Charming and Warm! We enjoyed our stay! The owner had everything ready when we arrived. He was extremely accommodating and hospitable. We were welcomed with 2 large christmas trees elegantly decorated in the home, in addition to many warm holiday decorations throughout. A lovely basket of bread, wine and coffee awaited us in the kitchen. It was a fantastic holiday week! The kitchen was equipped with everything you would ever need to cook a delicious meal. The house is conveniently located near the historic 25th street, where great restaurants and coffee shops are all around. We will definitely stay again!

We arrived on July 23 and stayed 7 nights. The property owners where very helpful and nice even when we arrived a little early. It is hard to describe how well this 100+ year old house has been kept up and maintained. It feels like you have a historical bed and breakfast all to yourself. The original woodwork throughout the house is unbelievable! The trampoline and tree house in the back was perfect for our two boys. The amazing front porch was perfect for the adults. We had quite a few family members come to visit during our stay and they were all VERY impressed with the house and porch for entertaining. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Lots of families spend time just walking outside during the cool evenings. Being able to just walk downtown was very nice as well. Make sure you check out Union Station in Ogden. Very impressive! The mountains are about 5 minutes away by car. You can't beat that! And last but not least the updated kitchen is FANTASTIC! if you like to cook this is the place to do it!! This will be the place we stay for now on whenever we are in town. And when you consider that 2 hotel rooms would have cost more than our rental on the house it was a win win!!
Owner response:Thank you so much for choosing our home! we look forward to hosting you and your family again.

My family and I loved the home in Ogden. It was absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. We had plenty of room for Thanksgiving festivities. The kitchen was awesome. The owners were fantastic. We loved every minute of our stay and made many cherished memories. I would recommend this property to anyone needing a vacation home. Easy to get around and close to whatever you want to do.

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful and comfortable home! We loved all the historic touches and gazing out the gorgeous "bee" windows. It was a perfect home base for 5 adults as we attended our family wedding in the area. We especially enjoyed the luxurious and comfy beds and hope to visit you again.
