Our Maui rental condo is in the quiet secluded area five minutes from the historic seaport town of Lahaina and hotel row on Kaanapali Beach, and ten minutes from the cliff-side golf of Kapalua. The relaxed villages of Honokowai, Kahana, and Napili are all nearby.

Why the Owner Chose Papakea Resort
After looking at a number of properties, we fell in love with Papakea. It was magical: a family-oriented resort, right on the ocean. Not a block away, or two blocks away. Not crowded, not busy, but very low-key and relaxing.
Condo is located 30 yards from the water, with full view of the Pacific.
Perfect for morning jogs, sunset walks, and catching views of whales and rainbows.
Keeps the surf low, making the beach a wonderful place for families with young children.
Takes you up to our fourth floor condo -- perfect after a long day hiking Haleakala, mountain biking Poli Poli, and getting little ones off to their nap.
December through April, humpbacks pass by here on their way to/from Alaska.
