We enjoyed our stay at the Surf Rider. Info was as explained. Place was clean and neat. And it had everything you would need except a Kettle which we bought and left for the next guests. Sunsets were spectacular. And location allowed us to go almost anywhere in San Diego with a short ride.

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently traveled to San Diego from Colorado for a quick weekend getaway. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at surfrider. The condo is very clean, nicely decorated and centrally located. We absolutely loved sitting up on the roof top deck in the evenings watching the sunset and the whales. We also spent a lot of time lounging on the beach chairs and watched the people go by on the boardwalk. We loved that people always stopped in front of surfrider and commented on what a cool place it was! Little restaurants and cafes are within walking distance so we rarely had to get in the car to drive anywhere. Surfrider and Mission Beach are homeruns if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Leaving home in a snowstorm we found a sunny, warm ocean experience awaiting us at Mission Beach. The condo was perfect in both preparation and location. The roof top deck makes this property stand out amongst the competition. This space provides a perfect private sanctuary at any time of day. The property owners were very easy to deal with and all arrangements were made within a matter of hours. We will be recommending this property to anyone traveling to San Diego

Four of us stayed five days at this property and would likely stay here again. Location was perfect - about a mile south of pier/restaurant area, so far enough away that it was quiet, but close enough to walk to and from dinner. Having a private deck was a real plus and the view was awesome. Owners were great to work with. Condo was clean and pictures were representative, and beds were comfortable. Only thing I might say is that it could have used some updated kitchenware & linens, but truly, we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Being beach front was why we rented here, and we were not disappointed.

We rented the condo May 12-16, 2010 and it was fantastic! First of all, you can't beat the location. It's a 5 min walk to Belmont Park and a 10 min walk to Pacific Beach - oh, and of course there is the ocean right outside your window! I slept in the master bedroom and I kid you not, it's about 150 feet from the water. Simply amazing. We saw schools of dolphins every morning!!The condo is pretty much fully stocked - all you need to bring is food and sunscreen. There are plenty of towels, bedding, and kitchen utensils and supplies. The waterfall showerheads are absolutely luxurious. In my opinion, the best part of the unit is the private rooftop deck! The deck is only for tenants of this unit, so you don't have to share. I went up there with a book and ended up taking a nap while listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Perfection.We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Unit H at the Surf Rider. It is ideal for 2-4 people and the roof top deck (assigned to this unit) adds to the overall value. Dominique and Simone were great to work with and always available for questions. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you.

We had a great time at the Surfrider! The weather was beautiful and who could beat relaxing in the hot tub on a cold fall night with the ocean not more than 50 yards away? The condo was exactly what we needed and the rooftop deck was great and private. We will definitely return in the future!

We had a perfect stay on Mission Beach. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the surf,walking on the sand and on the boardwalk, and watching the sun set from the hot tub in front of the apartment. The accommodations were just perfect for the two of us, and the apartment had everything that we needed. When there was a slight problem, Dominique responded quickly and took care of it. Just go and enjoy!

Now this is a STAYCATION! While we live only 20 mins away staying there was like being away from it all. We have teenagers and it was a perfect location on the boardwalk..close to everything. We will definitely rent it again!

Simone and Dominique were so easy and a pleasure to work with on booking this property. The price was beyond reasonable and the best spot on Mission Beach. We came for a Girls Getaway weekend and the property was very clean and we had the BEST view. I've now made San Diego an annual trip and would stay at this property on every visit. Great for people watching and steps away from the beach!

What a beautiful property- awsome location just steps away from the beach. We BBQ'd on the 4th of July and enjoyed the fireworks display atop the rooftop deck while sipping wine we purchased during our bicycle ride along the boardwalk and bay. Dominique and Simone were great from the start, very helpful. The condo was clean, good layout and the kitchen was fully equiped. The location was pefect, not too busy. My toddler loved that she eat at the table and look at the ocean. We will definitely rent this condo again.

We stayed in Unit H during the first week of April and thoroughly enjoyed everthing about our stay, including the condo with the fantastic views of the ocean and modern, upscale amentities; the fantastic rooftop deck which was great for the cooler evenings and even nicer views; the jacuzzi which we used every day and evening for sunset and Happy Hour; and the convenient location where you can walk for miles and miles on the beach or bay. Simone and Dominique were friendly, responsive and professional. The entire experience was 1st Class and we will be back! ;o)

What a great place! Beautiful condo with everything we needed. Amazing views from the condo and the rooftop deck was great to relax and watch the sunset and all the boardwalk activity. The location is fantastic. Our boys were out on the beach every morning and every evening before we left for dinner. And we saw dolphins playing in the surf almost every day. We would definately return!
