One of the best units at the Rockies. Everything is new as of November 2008 - and we mean everything! Granite countertops and maple cabinets in the kitchen and both full bathrooms, tile and carpet flooring, beautiful Whirlpool appliances, brushed nickel lighting and hardware, and beautiful furnishings.
This is a quiet top floor unit with a nice view off the balcony; and with over 1,000 square feet of living space, there's plenty of room to relax after an exciting day exploring Steamboat. When you come 'home', a cozy, newly-tiled gas fireplace awaits.
The living room, master bedroom, and upstairs bedroom have vaulted beamed ceilings. There's a queen bed in the master bedroom, and the upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a comfortable futon with 8' mattress.
Perfect for one or two couples (four adults) without using the living room, and the upstairs bedroom futon can easily accommodate two additional adults or children (six total occupants). Each bedroom has plenty of drawer and closet space, and each bathroom has a roomy vanity with drawers as well as a linen closet with additional shelf space.
A ski locker is located just outside the front door of the unit. There's internet access available for your laptop in the unit, and there's a guest computer and printer in the Amenities Building.
Located just a short 10-15 minute walk to the ski base and restaurants at Ski Time Square, and just a few steps to the free bus which will take you to additional shopping and dining in town. You can pick up a free daily newspaper and brochures about area attractions in the Amenity Building, as well as a free cup of coffee.
Please, no smoking or pets. Individuals 23 years of age or younger unaccompanied by their parents or legal guardians are not allowed in this privately owned unit. We do not provide daily housekeeping services, but additional services can be arranged for a fee.
**2-Night Rentals will be charged a $75 Cleaning Fee.**

We were pleasantly surmised by our recent stay in Steamboat Springs. We thought it was very fairly priced, and very well equipped and comfortable. The condo is excellent for two couples, but you could easily sleep another 1 or two on the futon. Picking up the bus to the mountain was quick and easy. One night we took the bus into town, and it was a small walk, but not bad at all. Owners were very easy to work with. We would love to come back again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was just right for our group. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party (3-7 guys at different times of the week). The hot tubs were not too far away and parking was easy. For most, it may be a bit far to call "walk to lift" but it wasn't a problem for our group of mid to upper 20 year olds.It was especially nice to be able to walk to the base area resturants and bars. The bus stop is right at the condo, so it is a convenient second option. The late night bus system is a little confusing, so be sure you check out the maps before you head to the bars/resturants downtown!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a beautiful place! Thank you so much for letting us be your guests. My husband and I, my sister and her hubby, all shared our 20th anniversaries together here this weekend. We had the best time! We had a great time here in Steamboat at your condo! We enjoyed the hot tubs! Got some snow while we were here, so we enjoyed skiing/boarding in some powder! Very glad you guys had internet and a TV to watch movies on. Very good location and fully equipped kitchen were handy! Thanks for letting us stay! We enjoyed it! Another positive experience through VRBO. Sad to see you are selling! We came as a family for a ski vacation and unfortunately record LOW amounts of snow! Nonetheless, we were able to spend time together comfortably enjoying DVDs, meals, and the convenience of the bus to the ski slopes. The hot tub and heated pool were great. Our vacation was made extra special by staying in this well appointed condo. It was very clean, well kept and had a nicely organized kitchen. It was a perfect place to call home for a week. The second bedroom is contained in a loft area above the living room and it has it's own closest and bathroom. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the main level. Our two young children stayed in the bedroom up in the loft and they did great...far enough away, but not too far that we couldn't hear them if they needed something. The unit is on the 3rd floor which may be challenging for some, but we got used to it. By the end of our stay we were sad to leave. A great place for Spring Break! This condo was so comfortable and had EVERYTHING we might need. Great care is taken with this condo! It was nice to step out the door and catch the shuttle (no ski boot treks). It's definitely an easy walk to the ski hill as well. Thank you for a great stay!Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: My husband and I grew up in the midwest and neither of us ever thought we would wind up in Colorado. After several ski trips to Steamboat Springs, my husband participated in 'Ride the Rockies' in 2001. It was then that he fell in love with the friendly, energetic, small-town that we now call home. Another 'Ride the Rockies' in 2003 clinched it! We were convinced we had to focus all of our efforts in getting to Steamboat. In 2007 our dream came true and in 2008 we purchased a rental unit in The Rockies Condominiums. We hope you'll enjoy all that Steamboat has to offer. You'll want to keep coming back too!
