Come experience the spectacular sunsets from our mountain home. Relax on the wrap around porch in our red rockers overlooking the long range mountain and lake views, or enjoy starry nights roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Our home offers the choice of just kicking back away from it all, or is close enough to enjoy the many activities Western NC has to offer.

Lake Chatuge marina is just minutes away where you can enjoy boating, tubing, wave running, fishing or canoeing on the clean and clear refreshing lake. Take a day trip to the Smoky Mountains, visit Dollywood, view the waterfalls on the way into the town of Highlands, hike the Appalachian Trail, tube through the unique and fun town of Helen, golf the beautiful course at Brasstown Valley Resort or Horseback ride at Track Rock.

There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and small town shopping as well as a movie theater/fun center for the kids within 15 miles. There are also several festivals, fairs and flea marketing throughout the year. River rafting in the summer is a must which is within 40 minutes. Whether you are enjoying the brilliant colors of the leaves in the fall, an occasional deer in the driveway, picking blackberries, peaches and pears on the property in the summer, catching fireflies, the cool winter relaxing by the fireplace, or watching the birds around the bird feeders and flowers in the spring, you are sure to find something memorable for everyone.

The local artwork and cozy cabin decor throughout will make you comfortable the minute you walk in the front door. Our home is also within 2 hours of Chattanooga TN, Atlanta, GA, Asheville and Knoxville. The home is a wonderful place for large family gatherings with enough space for everyone, or can be a cozy place for 2.
