Sharon's condo offers one of the best ocean views we've seen, and we typically always try to stay in ocean front or ocean view properties. We spent three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday -- two of which another couple and their 7-year-old son joined us. The condo is well appointed, charming and cozy. We spent many hours in the living room enjoying the fantastic beach views, the great fireplace and watching movies. The condo is well stocked with games, movies, music and toys. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Our beds were comfortable. We enjoyed beach walks and the Cascade Head hike. Thanks for such a memorable and enjoyable holiday!

Wonderful beach escape.

My wife and I were looking to escape Portland for a few days after a busy summer. We found Sharon's condo "The Flamingo" and recognized the exterior of the property from an earlier visit to Neskowin. What a delightful experience! From the ease of booking to the the amazing coastal view, it was everything we were looking for and more. We hope to visit again in the near future!

...we enjoyed our 7 days within this cozy beachfront property...so many comforts could describe this 2 bdrm. condo. it is a clean immaculate and well designed decorated concept...one has to be there for the experience...we are looking forward to our return visit......

Our family treasured our three soothing days in this colorful artistic home. We relaxed into the changing weather of Oregon sun, wind and rains, either on the decks, the easily accessible beach, or the comfortable indoor furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms cozy, and the extra touches charming. Sharon is great to work with and we were sorry to leave so soon.

Hi Sharon - We recently spent a few days relaxing at your wonderful condo in Neskowin. What a lovely place to be - the view was incredible and the condo was just as as nice as it looked in the photos! The beds were amazing and we all slept like logs! We really enjoyed all the personal touches that you have in the condo - it was just like staying in a comfortable home and not a run of the mill hotel. Everything that we needed was available and it was so convenient to be able to have such easy access to the beach - especially for my 84 year old mother! All in all we had such a great time that we really hope to be able to return soon! We especially loved the fireplace at night...thanks so much for sharing your charming retreat with us! Oh! And the pizza from the Hawk's Cafe was great!

Perfect Rental

Outstanding. This is a great place to stay. Perfect for our family of four. Location, location, location and everything else you could ask for in a rental. CLEAN and well appointed. Hike the Cascade Head Trail (the views are incredible), visit the Cape Kiwanda sand dunes, or stay put and enjoy the beach directly in front of you. We loved Neskowin. Thank you, thank you for sharing your vacation home with the rest of us. We had a fabulous time.

My new wife and I drove several hours south from Washington to honeymoon on the Oregon Coast at the Flamingo. The place had an incredible view, great location and was very nice inside. Sharon was extremely accommodating, and helped us book on last minute arrangements! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to get away and spend some time right on the water, with a great beach feet from your front door and plenty of great shops and restaurants close by.

My family owned a home in Neskowin for over 30 years, so I've spent many a vacation there...and I've also vacationed in many coastal homes that are a bit worse for rental wear...but this place is fantastic! The nature provided view is unbeatable, unobstructed and truly relaxing to behold. The interior is the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. The remodeling was done tastefully and keeps to the Chelan's historical beauty. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, and if you forget movies or music, no worries -- a great selection for the whole family! The kids loved playing with "Logan's toys" and enjoying the books in their room. It's literally a hop, skip and a jump from the beach and from Hawk Creek Cafe and the General store. Oh, and if you go to Hawk Creek (a definite!), you must order a pizza and when you get to the crust, put the honey they give you on it, for a tasty treat. We're already booking our next weekend getaway to this fabulous place! Thank you so much! The Stricklands

Perfect Girlfriend Retreat

We stayed three nights in May. It rained. A lot! Who cared! We had a view to die for! A fireplace! A short drive to the outlet stores and a movie theater! The condo is clean and updated and Sharon was great to work with! We’ll be back!

Beautiful and charming oceanfront condo perched just above the ocean

We loved this place! The condo is an upper corner with breathtaking views and plenty of privacy. It is perched just above the beach and ocean allowing you to hear the pounding surf below. The condo is nicely decorated, very clean and well stocked. A two minute walk away is a little market and a great cafe where we enjoyed a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great burgers! And a nice wine and beer selection. The sleepy little town of Neskowin is our favorite on the Oregon coast. We have stayed in many condos and cottages using VRBO and this place ranks among the best!

Wonderful Healing

I needed to do some healing. The environment, view and convenience of the property and its nearby amenities afforded me that wonderful opportunity. The price was right for the intimate ocean experience. The power of the surf was right there just outside the window and off the deck at the bottom of the cliff.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful beach condo. The view of the ocean was great. The beach was terrific for walking, and the town is the right size with none of the tourist activity so typical of other towns on the coast.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST BEACH TRIPS WE HAVE EVER HAD. THE CONDO HAD THE MOST FANTASTIC VIEW OF THE OCEAN, AND IS DECORATED SO NICE. WE TOOK MANY WALKS ON THE BEACH AND INTO TOWN TO THE STORE AND CAFE. THE CAFE HAD REALLY GREAT FOOD. WE TOOK A DRIVE OVER TO PACIFIC CITY, BUT WERE ALWAYS READY TO COME HOME TO THE CONDO AND JUST ENJOY A FIRE IN THE FIREPLACE AND RELAX TAKING IN THE VIEW. THE OWNER IS JUST WONDERFUL , AND EASY TO DEAL WITH.

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at The Flamigo! The condo was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The owner was friendly and accommodating to us. The view was amazing and made this trip so special even during the rainy days. We liked being able to walk to the local cafe (which was tasty) and take short drives to Lincoln City or Pacific City. We will return!

Condo on the waves

This beautiful condo feels like you are right on the waves....with stunning views. It has all modern amenities and is just 2 blocks from town market and cafe. I have stayed here twice - once for a romantic getaway and the other time with my family. The condo really works well for all ages and types of gatherings.

Chelan Flamingo

I hesitate to write a review for the Flamingo only because I loved it so much! If I let others know my "secret sweet spot on the Oregon Coast", it may not be available the next time I want to use it! The view is unsurpassed in this corner unit on the upper level. Each sleeping area has a window for sea breezes and sounds, which is an added plus. So many beach rentals have wonderful common areas for the beach views, but few have windows to the sea as well. All of the furniture is quite comfortable and seems to be high quality, rather than cast-offs from the owner's "real" home. There is a very complete kitchen with all that anyone might need to prepare meals. I particularly appreciated having a granite breakfast bar with two comfortable stools. Our stay was a delightful respite, even though it was in less than ideal weather conditions. The Oregon Coast is a joy in any season, especially if you are looking at the surf from the comfort of The Flamingo at Chelan in Neskowin!

What a location

A perfect place for a getaway. Far enough away from the crowds yet close enough for day trips and supplies. The ocean view is amazing. Parking is easy. The layout is just fine. The place is clean and well kept. The beds are comfy. We have no complaints.
