Amazing Property

I have just returned from a trip with my family (wife and 2 small kids) where we stayed in Bougainvillea for a week. The home is very spaciously designed and well appointed with quality furniture, the combination of which provide for a very comfortable living space. To reinforce the other reviews the solar power provides a lot of convenience, pictures of the property are 100% accurate, and the location is great. Judy and Lawrence the care takers are amazing people and I really liked having some 'locals' to help orient us. One huge plus that was not immediately obvious to me was the garden house is a great detached stand alone bedroom. Perfect should we bring our in-laws around next time. To summarize I have stayed a 3 different houses on "Briland" this is truly an amazing property, I would recommend it to everyone!

We just returned from a wonderful week at Bougainvillea. The house was every bit as pretty as the pictures make it look. It is clean, spacious and bright, with very tasteful decorations and a location in the middle of it all. It offers all of the charm of the historic Dunmore Town, with all of the amenities of a brand new house - a modern kitchen, dependable utilities and plenty of room. The house's caretakers, Judy and Lawrence, are so helpful and also a lot of fun! We made good use of the guest passes to Coral Sands; that is a great addition to a rental house on Harbour Island, and one that not all houses offer. We've been visiting Harbour Island for almost 30 years, and we've stayed in various cottages in Dunmore Town, and this one is tops!

My wife and i just got back from our honeymoon here and this house is phenominal!! Its incredibly well designed with great ammenities and in a perfect location. We are so impressed we cant wait to come back, hopefully with two or three other couples which it can easily accomodate, . (a bit big for just 2 but we still loved it and felt perfectly comfortable). Everything is brand new and in great condition. The outdoor dining area is great for having friends over to grill and the view off the balcony was perfect for cocktail hour. It comes w/ Coral Sands beach passes which is great and you can get a boat for snorkling right across the street. I honestly think this one of the nicest houses on the island. A perfect rating in our book. Thanks!

This house is really nice! It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, and simply nicely decorated and very cheerful. It also has wireless internet and music which made our vacation even nicer! It is centrally located a short walk from Valentines and close to the Government docks. The complimentary membership to Coral Sands makes a nice beach very accessible! As a family of 4, we only needed two of the bedrooms, however there was room enough for 4 more people with plenty of privacy. We really appreciated the solar power. While we were in Harbor Island the island's electrical power was out more than it was on....this sometimes happens on an island. Because of the solar power the refrigerator and the water system would continue to operate, as well as the house remaining fairly cool. Our friends in other rental homes (3 more expensive homes) without solar power and having broken generators were hot, worried about rotting food in the warm home and could not shower or flush after the extended lack of power. Needless to say the lack of island electricity never bothered us! Out of 4 homes rented for a wedding get together, this home was the best value and was the most comfortable due to the solar power. I hope to return again to this wonderful Harbor Island Home!
