(Continued) With all my inquiries regarding air conditioning, you were absolutely right... the house is perfect wide open with the tropical breezes and all one really needs is the a/c at night in the bedrooms. I will admit we had some issues with the mosquitoes, and I felt like I was a buffet for the little buggers every morning and evening. Carla arranged for the property to be sprayed a few days after we arrived, but the weather (overnight) wasn't terribly cooperative, and it rained almost every night, so in spite of the great effects of the bug spraying for a couple days, we weren't able to do it again during our stay. However, Carla ensured we had plenty of Off, and Eyan ensured we each had our own mosquito zapper, so we learned this too wasn't a big issue. We had an amazing stay, Jack. Thank you. When we return to SXM, you will be our first email, as we would love to stay at your beautiful home again in the future!

Dear Jack, Life has finally settled down a bit since we've been home. Mille Fleurs helped to create such a special vacation this year, it's been a little challenging for me to think of how to write a review which adequately captures our experience.....You and Byron have definitely created a piece of heaven in Mille Fleurs. Every detail was done to perfection - small things in which you took the time to ensure your guests comfort - an incredibly comfortable mattress, soft bath towels, exceptional pillows (I'm going to order some up for us at our home)! All the mini flash lights, candles and candle holders... the insulated frozen mugs, the beer cozies, the insulated unbreakable tumblers for poolside enjoyment.... the IPod dock and surround sound speakers.....Really, you seemed to have anticipated your guests every desire.... .. soft and thick (not old and worn) beach and poolside towels, wonderfully comfortable poolside furniture, and two big refrigerators so one always had a cold drink! The environment was exactly what we were seeking.... big expansive view, all the privacy we could wish for, and a peaceful beautiful setting in which to unwind and decompress. I learned I really enjoy waking up early to a morning swim on a daily basis.... that pool is amazing. Talk about rejuvenating. We've rented homes in France, California, and St John. This was our first on SXM, in spite of 11 years visiting the island. This visit was extremely memorable, in part due to Mille Fleurs, and also in part due to the new friendships we gained in Carla and Eyan. They are both delightful, and were helpful in every single way imaginable. So very friendly, and made us feel "at home" the moment we arrived. Remember how I inquired with you about arranging for a cooking lesson while on the island? Well, Carla and I discussed this as well.... as it turns out Carla is quite the local cook herself. She offered to go to the market with me one day, and we spent a few hours cooking up indigenous local dishes, and I will remember this always. It was exactly what I was seeking, and after a morning of cooking, my husband and I enjoyed a truly memorable late luncheon with Carla and Eyan.... really, they are both gems. A Magical Experience

6 gals wanted to get away from the frigid northeast and midwest so we met in St. Martin at this fabulous villa for a week of fun, sun and catching up. The villa is beautifully decorated with attention to detail at the forefront. The layout works well for families with children as well as just adults. A gourmet kitchen well stocked with all the accessories, two full sized refrigerator/freezers were exactly what we needed to separate our "beverages" from our food. We all like to cook so we gave the kitchen a good workout and prepared fantastic meals. The pool and view from the back of the villa is breathtaking. Perfect to watch the sun set. We took the short walk to Plum Bay Beach and soaked up the rays. The lovely Carla came each day to straighten up & make sure we had everything we needed. We wanted to bring her home with us. The grounds are beautifully kept by Eyan and we enjoyed chatting with him on his daily rounds. Both he and Carla gave us their local opinion of some fantastic places to visit. The owners were honest, efficient and faithful in responding to our questions and very helpful in making recommendations. Our group has rented villa's on other caribbean islands and in Europe and this was the most elegant and well kept place we have stayed in. Best croissants are at Serafinas, parasailing at Orient Beach, Ask Eyan for directions to the secret quiet beach perfect for just floating in the ocean or hiking the beach in search of conch shells. I'd recommend Mille Fleurs to anyone who appreciates good taste, style, beauty, serenity, and living their best life. Namaste

Beauty Beyond Words

My week at Mille Fleurs exceeded ALL expectations. The house and grounds are so beautiful. The attention to detail and top quality furnishings is evident in every aspect of the house. The owners went above and beyond to provide information we needed about the house and island which was so helpful prior to our departure and during our stay. The unbeliveable view from the pool is something you never get tired of. Same with the utter peace and tranquilty that surrounds you the whole time. Carla was precious and pampered us with her excellent service. It truly was the vacation of a lifetime.......many wonderful memories were made.

Dear Jack: Villa Mille Fleurs is such a special place. We loved everything about it, from the location near Plum Bay, the spectacular view and sunsets, the pool, including the rubber duckies, the outdoor dining, the stocked bar, the comfortable beds and bedding, Maria, and the list could go on and on. My group (7 women) were not disappointed in anything. We kept pinching ourselves to make sure we were really staying in such a perfect spot. Hello Jack! Our vacation exceeded all of our expectations in every way. Just to name a few, Pol, Marc and Maria. From the moment we arrived at your exquisite home until the moment we left , it was nothing shy of magnificent! We are all so truly grateful to you, Jack for what we will always remember as our best vacation ever. As if awakening to the stunning view was not enough , opening the door to Pol and Marcs decadent dishes wowed us every morning. They were so accommodating and helpful and oh so talented!
