Location: Niantic, Connecticut, USA (Less than 1/2 hour to Casinos, Mystic Seaport & Much More!)

Welcome to our traditional-style, Cape Cod Home.

There are four nice-size bedrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms have a queen-size and two twin beds. The two bedrooms on the main floor have a queen and a full. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and the main level bathroom has a bathtub to relax in. This home is set up ideally for two couples or two small families. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the only things you'll probably need are your food, paper products, and towels (Don't forget your beach towels too!). The family room is spacious and gets plenty of sun.

The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to take walks or go for bike rides. Speaking of walks, it is a leisurely three minute walk to Crescent Beach. Crescent is a private beach so you don't have to fight any crowds there. The next beach over (another one minute or so walk) is McCooks Beach. This is a town beach and gets more crowded than Crescent but there are also more activities there.

At McCooks there are playgrounds, a park, outside showers, restrooms, and trails to walk up to the bluff overlooking Niantic Bay. There are also ice cream and snack trucks making the rounds. At Crescent Beach there is a quaint snack bar with a great view overlooking the beach itself. It is also within walking distance to downtown Niantic.

This is a Great Place to bring the family and enjoy a multitude of activities while experiencing the finest that Connecticut has to offer. We hope you'll try us out, I'm sure you will be pleased you did!

  • We rented this cottage for 2 weeks in July 2009. The location and place was just what we needed. The house in clean and spacious. We entertained friends and family without feeling crowded. Would definitely consider renting from the Ditter's again. Thanks for one of the most relaxing vacations in quite a few years.

  • The stay at the house was everything I could ask for. I am a cadet at the United States Coast Guard Academy, and the academy was hosting a formal on one weekend. Myself, three other cadets, and our dates were able to stay at the house for a night without any trouble. The house was comfortable and hospitable, and the beach is right around the corner. The transactions were quick and easy, and contact with the owner was efficient. I plan on renting the house again in the future!

The private beaches close by are more than you could ask for. The house is located in a very welcoming neighborhood and for the area, you could not ask for more value for your dollar.   • It’s a two minute walk to the beach from this house in this beautiful town. This was a clean, spacious house with all the amenities. The owners are very nice and were very helpful not only with the renting process, but with information on the sights and sounds of Niantic and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this house for your spring, summer, or fall vacation.
