Located in a secluded area of the San Diego Desert, Borrego Springs is surrounded by the largest state park in the contiguous US surrounded by 935 square miles or 660,000 square acres of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is located 25 miles inland from the Salton Sea and just 2 hours from the San Diego airport and 1 1/4 hours from Palm Springs.

Like Palm Springs, Twenty-nine Palms and Joshua Tree, this desert lies a few hours drive from Los Angeles, cradled by dry, dramatic mountains in a lush desert valley. Borrego Springs is a sort of desert island: 70 square miles of unincorporated town (no chain stores or chain restaurants). Borrego Springs is one of the last small paradises in California, a well keep secret, set in a private, wonderful, peaceful valley, it's is easy to find, yet very secluded.

Borrego Springs offers an abundant of activities, including, off-roading with (Ocotillo Wells Vehicluar State Park near-by), hiking, star gazing, swimming, golfing, shopping, antiquing and restaurants, also there are churches of every domination.

This darling cottage was built in the 1950's and reminiscent of the mid-century modern homes located in Palm Springs. This home is beautifully furnished with all new designer funshings in every room with Queen bedroom set in master suite. Both the guest house and guest bedroom have king beds. The guest house has its own bathroom and is near the pool area. There is a screened Porch that is a great place to relax. There's a fully furnished kitchen with everything you need to entertain. This home comes with an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator and built-in barbecue with plenty of patios. There is also a great fire pit in the rear of the yard.

This home is located on almost two acres and the entire yard in surrounded by a new concrete fence and is suitable for your pets and there's plenty of room for several RV's. For the off road enthusiast, this home is a great way to end your day, park the RV's and dirt bikes and let the kids have a blast swimming in the new pool.

Come and get away from it all and stay at this darling romantic little home with large private yard, where the weather is always perfect. There's enough room for 6-8 people or just for two, it is perfect, private honeymoon Cottage or get away.

In the Spring time come and enjoy the wildflowers that Borrego Springs Valley is famous for, and in summer experience warm balmy nights and great tropical storms. Check my calendar for availablity.

There's a new 40'x 16' swimming pool and spa. They are NOT HEATED, however, THEY CAN HEATED WITH AT EXTRA COST with propane. Because propane is significantly costly, I have to charge for it. I have a 250 gallon propane tank and it cost $2.50 per gallon or $750.00 to fill it. If you heat the pool, it can take over a 100 gallons is a twenty four hour period, or four gallons per hour for both the pool and spa. Sometimes that can add up to be more then the rent I collect. I can't afford to rent my home if I have to pay for the propane. Starting in May, the sun heats the pool and it can be really nice throughout the summer. Sorry.

  • This was a wonderful place to stay. It was beautifully appointed with really nice touches that combined the best aspects of an upscale hotel and a bed and breakfast with the privacy, comfort, and conveniences of your own home. The owner was very attentive to any questions or concerns that arise. The only things that should be noted are 1) that there are only two bedrooms aside from the guest house, which is not as nice as the house. 2) that the pool and Jacussi are not heated unless you pay an additional (significant) fee up front and you need to give them notice since it takes a day or so to heat.
