This ocean front home has a very large ocean front deck with a custom jacuzzi + incredible views. This is a great vacation villa for the family trip, every business trip, or any occasion. Welcome to one of the best located ocean front houses in all of San Diego. You are in the very heart of San Diego! Weddings are held along Sunset Cliffs all year long. This is the only house with a 650 square foot ocean front deck with a custom Jacuzzi built into it! You can relax while overlooking the ocean blue. Take in the refreshing ocean air and feel the warm sunshine and cool ocean breezes. The temp along the ocean is 65-75 degrees 300 days of the year. San Diego has a micro climate which is just right. The temp usually varies as little a 8-10 degrees from the high to the low each day. It's heavenly. At night, you can let the ocean waves peacefully put you to sleep.
The house has 2 stories with 20 foot high cathedral ceilings on the 2nd floor, with lots of light. The view from the 2nd floor is breath taking. It offers privacy with a large backyard with extra private parking in the back if needed.
Along with the large ocean front deck in the front, there is a nice smaller deck (approx 350 sq ft) in the back complete with a BBQ and fire pit table. That’s about 1000 square feet of prime outdoor living, and entertaining space. About 3500 square feet of total living space inside and out. You can walk down to the fruit trees on the property and pick your own limes and lemons almost year round. True California living. There is a 2nd Jacuzzi in the back yard too :)
The house was recently updated with three new flat screen HD TV's. One is a 52 inch LCD TV with a 120 MHZ picture. A Bose surround sound entertainment system built into the wall and blue ray disc player. Downstairs in one bedroom we put a 50 inch plasma flat screen TV on the wall. It comes complete with a sound system. There is also the very popular Nintendo Wii gaming system along with a bunch of video games, Guitar Hero, and a few others.
In the Master Bed room we have an ipod standup speaker that is 4 feet high which plays all ipods with great sound quality. The 3rd TV in the master bedroom has a smaller Bose sound system to watch TV & DVDS, and a 32 inch LCD flat screen TV. All cable boxes come with HD premium 300+ channels. There is a cable modem for the internet and FREE WiFi internet access throughout the house along with free long distance calling to the US.
We require a 50% down payment, and the balance within 60 days of your stay. There is a refundable 500.00 security deposit which is also due. Please email us us if you have any other questions. Why the Owner Chose Sunset Cliffs
This home here in Ocean Beach/ Point Loma has an incredible view, and the location is overall the best in San Diego to get to everything, especially downtown which is very close. It's a very unique area with a two mile stretch of land called Sunset Cliffs Natural Park. A walk or drive along the ocean here you will see cliffs as much as 150+ feet above the ocean, surfers, and people just out enjoying life and the surroundings. Also to go downtown which is important for many guests-- is very easy from this location. It's very close to many, many other attractions basically making it the perfect rental area in my opinion. But what really sold me was the ocean view, it is priceless. You will see many come with their camera's every night to catch that incredible sunset like a nightly ritual. It's a special place, one that you will be glad you rented. I've been all over San Diego, this is the right place to come and visit, you are in the heart of it all.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
The View, The View, and the View. We had a 650 square foot ocean front deck built off the living room and added a jacuzzi sunken into the deck which is incredible! You can unwind and look up at the stars at night or get in to that 104 degree water and look out to the ocean blue, the only house on the entire street like this. There is a 2nd Jacuzzi in the back yard, along with the fire pit, BBQ grill, a lemon and lime tree on the property. It's awesome.

We added the very large ocean front deck along with the ocean front Jacuzzi which is fabulous when you unwind in it as you look out to that incredible ocean. Recently we added brand new Maple wood floors, new tile in the kitchen, and new plush carpeting on the 1st floor and master bedroom. The house has new paint inside and out and landscaping too. Not a nice, family home...

We had booked this place for a 4 night mini-family reunion (2 families, 5 children) but we checked out after 1 night! For the rental rates that were charged, we expected a really nice home but we were very disappointed. We believe that this owner is completely misrepresenting this home. "This home has hosted some stars and celebrities over the years and we want to add you to the list. Many rent the house for wedding receptions, etc." I find this impossible to believe! This statement implies a sense of quality that this home does not have...in our opinion, this home is just an overpriced bachelor pad! This "unforgettable ocean front home" is unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. This is not a "wonderful" home for families. We expected a nice renovated home...I find it difficult to believe that 250K was spent on this home! It claimed to have new paint inside but the lobby walls needed to be cleaned or painted. There was chunks of paint peeling on the railing going downstairs. There was no bed frame on the master bed...it was just sitting on the floor. The home decor was awful. There was a cracked glass sliding door downstairs with duct tape. There were no window treatments on the bedroom/media room downstairs or in the kitchen. There was mold in the shower. One of the bar stools in the kitchen was very ripped. There were electrical outlets in the kitchen and in the master bedroom with no covers. The electrical outlet on the floor near the massage chair was really loose and completely not safe for children. The telephone did not work so we were unable to use the free long distance. There were no batteries in the Wii remotes so we were unable to play the games. There was gum on the bedside table. The home "just added 600 thread count bed linens" but we couldn't find them anywhere. The bedding was very old, one of the comforters was ripped and my daughter found gum in her bed at night...we could barely sleep! Perhaps that is why there are no photos of the bedrooms on the site! When we called Mark the next day, he was unreasonable and unwilling to compromise and find a solution. He was completely wrecking our vacation and he didn't care at all. We are VRBO owners and managers ourselves so this was a very disappointing experience for us and our extended family. This home hurts all VRBO owners. Thankfully on this same trip, we did rent 2 other lovely VRBO homes that saved our vacation! We would not recommend this home to anyone!!

See the review BELOW left just one month PRIOR for an ACCURATE review on our vacation property and our customer service. We have hosted stars and celebrities over the years, A FACT. Most groups love the outstanding location and privacy the house offers. We have been renting our property for three years now. There are only a few ocean front houses available close to downtown San Diego, and this one of the nicest ones, very unique and fun.

Sunset Cliffs was a great place to stay for a business/personal trip for 6 adults and 5 children. The home is in a wonderful location...quiet and safe. The view of the ocean is unsurpassed. The home itself is lovely and very comfortable. Mark was great to work with. He was very responsive to questions before arrival. Part of our group was due to arrive at different times on Wednesday but all had meetings to attend. Mark was gracious enough to meet with one of our group a day early to show the home and turn over the keys. I would highly recommend this property!

We just stayed at the house for three days and I wish I was still there! Everything about the house was great, from the views and being able to stare out onto the ocean from bed, to the massage chair, the fire pit, both hot tubs, the game room, the big backyard and even the washer and dryer which are straight out of the future. It was relaxing, serene and beautiful. We'll definitely be renting again!

The view from the 2nd floor and ocean front deck will keep you coming back for many more years. It's a tremendous location, and priced very fairly for an Ocean front fun house.
