Location is good 10- 15 min subway from Termini station. Could have been cleaner but was not disgusting. OK so the TV shuts off in 1-2 min. and there is no Internet access. But we found this to be a great way to get our teenage daughters back and enjoyed cards and iPad games ( scrabble boggle) and talking. Grocery store, connivence store very close. Pizza shop across the street. AC worked fine. Quiet street!! Use stairs or elevator only on third floor Caroline was OK. All in all no major complaints with our 3 night stay. 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in this apartment for 3 nights. I cannot say we had a good stay. Amelia was not there anymore (I was told she left in a hurry because she was getting married) and this might be the reason why we had problems with our rented apartment. The new manager was still learning and could not give us much help although she tried her best. We mainly had the following problems: 1. Could not make the AC (air conditioner/la climatasion) work. If we opened the window, the street was very noisy and we could not fall sleep. But, if we closed the window, the room would be very hot. We could not make the AC work so my family really had trouble to sleep all 3 nights. This was the most annoying problem in our stay. 2. TV did not work. At first, there was no signal. After our manager called Amelia, this problem was fixed. Then there was another problem. The TV would automatically power itself off after you turned on it for about one minute or less. We were never able to fix it, although it did not bother us too much because we didn't have the time to watch the TV. 3. There was no clothes drying machine so we had to air dry all our clothes. (Which was trouble because there was little space to hang the clothes in the apartment.) Based on these events, we will not be coming back to this apartment in the future.

We stayed 3 nights at Sandi House and had a great time. We found the subway to be very close to the flat and we used it each day to get around Rome. The supermarket was a short 5 minute walk. Our family of four stayed - two adults and two teens - and we had enough rooom. The flat was very clean and the photos accurately represented the place. Amelia was very helpful and answered all of our questions. She even arranged for a cab ride back to the airport. We would definitely recommend Sandi House!

Sandi House was truly a home away from home. It was well-equipped for cooking. We cooked breakfasts and snacks during the 11 days there. I travelled to Rome with my daughter. The pictures are very accurate. The windows allowed you to shut out the sounds of the city and relax. The neighborhood had places of all kinds for eating and grocery stores and fruit/vegetable stands within a couple blocks. Two different train lines ran a short distance from the apartment so getting around Rome was fantastically easy! Amelia was great! She made the booking easy. She even stepped in to help us when we had a small family communication emergency! I would recommend this apartment to anyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 6 nights in mid October at Casa Camilla. Amelia was there to meet us and was very welcoming. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults, 3 adults or 2 adults and 1-2 kids. The space is well-used and the King bed very comfortable. We cooked breakfast and a light dinner in, eating our main meal out. The kitchen was well-equipped for this. The location is perfect. Only 4 metro stops to the Colisseum, but away from the heavy tourist zones. We took the commuter train from Fiumicino Airport in to the smaller Tuscolano train station, then walked four blocks to the apartment. The Camilla metro stop is even closer, two short blocks, which takes you to the larger Termini train station. It is about a 60 minute walk from the Colisseum/Fora area to the apartment and very interesting to see the shops. Many thanks to Amelia for being such as wonderful and vivacious hostess. We hope to return again soon! Viva Roma!

Our stay in Rome was lovely but Amelia was even lovelier. She is the best host we've ever had and we look forward to staying at her apartment again in the future. I travelled to Rome with my mother and grandmother in October and stayed at this apartment for a week. We were looking for a comfortable, clean and conveniently located accomodation and that is exactly what we got at Amelia's apartment. The metro station is two blocks away, there is a supermarket three blocks away and plenty of places to eat nearby. We also loved the fact that, while the the sights are all easily accessible via metro, this apartment is not located in a particulary tourist area. Needless to say, we felt like genuine Romans. I would recommend this rental for a family of three or four, I guarantee it, you will not be disappointed!

First I must comment on Amelia. She is the best host that we have ever had. She was so helpful; we must have driven her crazy with all our questions. She helped me find a 24 hr. pharmacy when our 15 month old got sick, Amelia is the best. The apartment was clean and the location was great. It was a little crowed for my wife and me because we had to place a crib in the master bedroom area. The second room was fine for our two kids. It would be super for a family of four or less. It is about a 2 minute walk to the metro stop. Turn left out of the building and walk 3 minutes to the grocery store. The apartment is situated between two major roads, so there are plenty of stores and places to eat. ATM's are located on the major roads. An internet cafe is located a block away on the way to the metro. The apartment is a good escape after a long day of walking, it is quiet and comfortable. We stayed there March 22-28, 2009. It was a great experience.

My family of 4 stayed at this location during our recent visit to Rome. It is very centrally located near the metro and also the supermarket. The flat was very nice and comfortable for our family. The lift was not completed during our stay but the stair climb of 2 flights was not bad. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone wanted a comfortable stay in this beautiful city. We will definitely stay here again.
