Casa Camilla is located in one of the most commercial zones in Rome (only a few meters away from Via Appia) with boutique shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias and cinema. Close to Sights: With the metro station “Furio Camilla” being just 50m from the apartment it is easy to discover the Roman sights. For example, the basilica of St Giovanni in Laterano is only three metro stops away and within 10min you can reach the Spanish Steps. The world famous Colosseum is just within 20 min walking distance. Airports: Casa Camilla is only 5 minutes (by foot) away from Tuscolana train station. From this station trains leave every 15 min from/to Fiumicino Airport. Ciampino Airport can be reached by just 20 min by car.

Entrance, one double bedroom, one bedroom with a bunk bed, separate kitchen, dining angle, bathroom with shower and two storage spaces. Equipment Independent heating, air conditioning, washing machine, electric oven and microwave, kettle, kitchen tools, radio and LCD television, bed linen and towels (will be weekly changed). Additional Services: Cleaning can be arranged.

  • Our stay in Rome was lovely but Amelia was even lovelier. She is the best host we've ever had and we look forward to staying at her apartment again in the future. I travelled to Rome with my mother and grandmother in October and stayed at this apartment for a week. We were looking for a comfortable, clean and conveniently located accomodation and that is exactly what we got at Amelia's apartment. The metro station is two blocks away, there is a supermarket three blocks away and plenty of places to eat nearby. We also loved the fact that, while the the sights are all easily accessible via metro, this apartment is not located in a particulary tourist area. Needless to say, we felt like genuine Romans. I would recommend this rental for a family of three or four, I guarantee it, you will not be disappointed!

  • First I must comment on Amelia. She is the best host that we have ever had. She was so helpful; we must have driven her crazy with all our questions. She helped me find a 24 hr. pharmacy when our 15 month old got sick, Amelia is the best. The apartment was clean and the location was great. It was a little crowed for my wife and me because we had to place a crib in the master bedroom area. The second room was fine for our two kids. It would be super for a family of four or less. It is about a 2 minute walk to the metro stop. Turn left out of the building and walk 3 minutes to the grocery store. The apartment is situated between two major roads, so there are plenty of stores and places to eat. ATM's are located on the major roads. An internet cafe is located a block away on the way to the metro. The apartment is a good escape after a long day of walking, it is quiet and comfortable. We stayed there March 22-28, 2009. It was a great experience.

  • My family of 4 stayed at this location during our recent visit to Rome. It is very centrally located near the metro and also the supermarket. The flat was very nice and comfortable for our family. The lift was not completed during our stay but the stair climb of 2 flights was not bad. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone wanted a comfortable stay in this beautiful city. We will definitely stay here again.
